This is still one of the 2 most fun things to do in GTA 4, the other being the swing set glitch. There's a map floating around the Internet with glitched swingsets - you drive a car into any of them, you fly off into the stratosphere. I managed to fly across the map and then some in a sports car. Can't remember which one it was.
