kiraanimerawr1 It is a major flaw with playing games on the internet. Some make a living doing the same thing over and over, and they keep making new ideas, or have funny moments occur, or terrible luck. You then have people that just play a game for the views, so the either copy an idea and churn it out time and time again, or they run out of ideas and move on. Achievement Hunter is a mixture of both, they play for views but sometimes when rehashing the same game over and over, they stumble onto a goldmine. It is a shame they mine it dry. That is what is happening with Minecraft, after 150 (not sure if its that high) episodes they have run out of ideas and are just making 3-4 parters. Ray (inb4 Roy) left because he had more fun AWAY from the environment of the AH office.

So let's go over the content on the new channel: An improvised GO, an easy GO, two identical Things to Do in a game from which we've seen a lot of content, a lackluster HUNT in a crappy game, a Top 5 for Xbox games that were all multiplatform, a VS in an unimpressive game, a Megacraft of a program that converts pictures to blocks... Honestly the only content on the new channel I've really enjoyed was the Arkham Knight Things to Do, Rage Quit, and the Five Facts. I know I'm one person and there's probably going to be a lot of people disagreeing with me, but I personally think this channel needs to up the ante, games they haven't covered before, more enthusiasm and competition... If I was a newcomer, I wouldn't subscribe. Not trying to be disrespectful, just offering criticism.

Nordic and Nerdy I feel the same that the content put up since the channel launch has been a bit lack luster in places but I think its mainly because I'm growing tired of the same content after so long of watching it. Its quite hard to keep things fresh all the time, so maybe in a month or so they will revive things slightly and hopefully stop milking Things to do as much because changing the rules a tiny amount and then filming the same episode again doesn't make for overly interesting content. The least they could do is rotate the people playing so we don't get the same commentary as before.

Nordic and Nerdy You make a good point. Different people will like some of the content that's come out so far, but as of now there hasn't been too much content that's really been eye-grabbing. Of course, the purpose of this channel was just to upload whatever AH puts on their normal site, so they weren't going to go out of their way to try to make something insane (apart from the stretch goals) to promote the new KZbin channel and were just going to use the content they had, knowing that people would watch it regardless. However, this might have not been the best idea, since this is a new channel and they're trying to attract more people to it with their 'stretch goals'. My guess is that they might have made the assumption that everyone subbed to the Let's Play channel would sub here, but that's not necessarily going to be true because part of those people are probably just solely interested in the let's plays and don't care about their other content. Now, at the present, their normal content is sort of in a dry streak like CometFire321 mentioned. If instead they did some kind of special video (apart from the announcement of the stretch goals) to promote the new channel and went out their way to make it eye-catching to new viewers, then they'd have a greater chance at accomplishing their goals.

Lemme summarize my the point it was attempting to make earlier: This is a new channel that serves as AH alternate video upload channel for everything else but let's plays. They didn't plan to make it about new content. However, they did announce stretch goals and it's unlikely that just everyone who subbed to let's play will sub here (as it's different content), so they need to attract some new people in order to reach them (they've reached the first already). That all being said, they may not be able to reach all those goals solely on generic/similar videos to one's they've already made like this one. One way to attract more new people would be to do some kind of big, promo video of some kind (and by that I don't just mean announce stretch goals). But that's just an idea.
