You can take the tour bus around HCMC in the evening, Phở Hoà Pasteur street. Maybe you should travel to Ðà Lạt, Đà Nẵng, Hội An , Huế or Sapa. Hạ Long bay is so beautiful nature but there is just got a Typhoon yagi hurricane so I don’t know you will have a great time if you go there.

You didn't have to lick the back of the postcard to stick the stamp on . There was a humid sponge on the counter that you could use for that . Don't worry post service in VN is very reliable . For Europe It takes maybe one week for the postcard to get there . BTW which canton or city are you from ? Those cakes are actually waffles ( gaufres ) and Vietnamese muffins , not pancakes ( crêpes ) . FYI the Vietnamese forecast is predicting a very bad storm will hit Saigon in a few days so it's why they have trim the branches of those over a hundred years old trees to prevent them from falling down on the passing-by people and vehicles . Last week the typhoon Yagi hit the north part of VN and devasted many provinces there , bringing heavy rains , floods , landslides and damaging many infrastructures ( road , bridges , schools , hospitals and habitations ) killing almost 300 peoples and injuring thousands of others . Two months ago a heavy branch fell down in a park killing one jogging lady and injuring two others . In VN usually there is no entrance-fee to visit Buddhist pagodas and Christian churches except at some tourist spots .

No worries! It sometimes rain heavy for some minutes and stop again, maybe bring a small umbrella because you never now! ❤️ Don’t forget to try the egg coffee and some good street food! You‘ll love it in Vietnam ❤️

It's actually not a good idea to visit VN or any other SEA countries now because of the heavy rains , storms and floods . You should wait until Mid-December after the rainy/stormy season .

No worries. HCM city ( Sai Gon) is one of the safest places in the world, no floods, earthquakes, tsunamis…for hundreds of years. You should eat Cơm Tấm, Bún thịt nướng, drink Sài Gòn Special beer…
