@@BellaDiary Hi there well what you do so works I'm not a gym kinda girl but like you I do like a nice walk with my yorkie Rosie, The potteries was quite an industrial town, made up of what they call the (5 towns) Hanley,, Burslem,, Longton,, Stoke,, and Tunstall, unfortunately the majority of the pottery pot banks have gone and alot are made abroad, my hubby though works for portmerion pot Bank and I use to work on spode (now closed) Emma Bridgewater is not too far away,,, I just love her style of pottery,, we live in Stoke a little village named Oakhill, we are an hours drive from the peaks, its always a nice place to escape to,, we're actually having a weekend away this coming weekend at Bagshaw Hall the sleep lodge, Great value for money and fab rooms with your own little kitchen area everything that you need, £2,20 from Fri till Sunday,, once again love your vlogs it's like an escapism watching them while we have been on lockdown, take care keep safe,,, keep on doing what you do and thank you, lots of love Julie from the potteries, 😀👍🏼☀️☔♥️

This is such a lovely, cozy vlog. The coffee shop in Windermere is called Homeground (I’m so sorry to be that person😳) it is absolutely the best coffee/brunch stop in the lakes….although in Windermere, everyone is lucky enough to be spoiled for choice!! If you ever come up to the area again, I 100% recommend Chester’s by the river. Even if you aren’t vegetarian, it’s still well worth it . It’s another very popular place. This video is probably the nicest one that has been posted so far about the Lake District. I come back to it often xx

My opinion - as someone who visits both frequently and has clocked up thousands of hours wandering over hill, dale and fell - Lake district wins hand down. Peak district is beautiful enough locale and both area have their character and attractions - but it doesn't measure up to the lake district. Peak district might possibly be equivalent in terms of mountain biking routes - but in terms of mountain walking and lakes and on the water activities the lake district surpasses.
