seal is short, round, stubby flippers, no external ears, and gallumps along like an inchworm when on land. Sealion is longer, slender, torpedo shaped, longer flippers, and can walk on the flippers. also can 'stand' more upright than the seal, makes a tall l-shape that seal cannot do.
