Things to do on Alameda Island, well, there is plenty of things to do and places to see! Eat. Drink. Beach time. 😎🥤👙🏖🩳
This video highlights our one day visit.
Alameda Island has a lot to offer. This was our first trip to Alameda Island, and we had only so much time to explore.
We found out about Spirits Alley, an eclectic collection of breweries, wineries, and distilleries. Spirits Ally is located on the old Navy base on the west end of Alameda Island.
We then stopped by the beach and lounged there for the afternoon. The Robert Crown State Memorial Beach has plenty of room to spread out with a large grassy area and plenty of picnic tables. As for the beach itself, it's a bit small. There is not a whole lot of room, so, we drove just around the corner to Alameda Beach. Alameda Beach is a long stretch of beach with plenty of room to set up your beach gear.

Things to do on Alameda Island: Remove the catalytic converter from your own vehicle and be sure to leave your vehicle's doors unlocked at all times in order to avoid your windows from being smashed by vandals repeatedly.
