Auckland is the biggest city,so logically more jobs are available here but at the same time, more competition. I would suggest target south island because mostly people don't go there because of few reasons such as cold weather, less desi community etc.

Hi, JSV was given to those who has applied according to old NZ immigration point system. If you applied before Oct 2023 then you might get JSV otherwise you will have to get a job then will be eligible for a residence visa.
