Hotels are far more expensive than $200 a night. Try $400 plus. I was very lucky to find one for $150 that was 7 miles away from the freedom trail. So for one week I am looking at paying $1500 with taxes and everything, just for the hotel. Either way, they do have hostel like the video says for under $100, Air B&B, etc. Luckily I am active duty military so I get to use the subways for free. So I have to see how far the nearest subway is from trail to the hotel.

Be prepared to use google maps on your phone like you've never used it in your life. Boston has the most confusing layout I've ever experienced in a city. I was so shocked at how streets curve and twist. I realize it's historic but it's hard to navigate and not user friendly.

I visited Boston in May 2019. The weather was perfect, and there were so many things I did that were also mentioned in this video. I mostly got around using the T. Old Scollay's Red Hat bar is my favorite. I hope to go back to Boston after all the mask mandates end.

You forgot to mention that people can take the Blue Line into Boston from Logan. It's not free to ride the train, but the blue shuttle bus ride from Logan is complementary.

Not far from the center is assembly row in Somerville. It’s just north of the city on the orange line. Plenty of shops, bars and restaurants. I’m a local, accent and all. Lol. Feel free to ask me anything. I’ve lived here all my life.

I'm visiting Boston for the Halloween weekend. I'll be staying near the financial district. Anywhere specific you think I must go/try?
@BostonBobby19612 жыл бұрын
@@Tcon123 Quincy Market/Faneuil Hall is adjacent to the financial district plus the North End which is where some of the best Italian restaurants are. If you can get up to Salem, Mass, that’s the epicenter for Halloween.

I don't know what Boston you are visiting but you certainly cannot get a luxury hotel for $300. Bookings at places like Harbor Hotel on the water are $700 a night with taxes.

Thanks for your feedback! We found, visiting in the off-season, you are able to get 5-star hotels like Encore Boston Harbor and The Eliot Suite Hotel for around $300 a night including tax but of course, this is just a starting price for luxury hotels.

The hotel prices you quoted are WAY too low. For instance, a five-star is going to run you $300-$900 a night.
