The weather is a little colder in December so bring layers but yes the Christmas festivities are fun! They have a thing called Christmas Alley and lots of decorations around the city!

Hi! Neapolitan here . Probably the youtuber means San Gregorio Armeno when she says Christmas Alley. There is no alley called Christmas Alley in Naples, but there is a street called San Gregorio Armeno famous for its boutiques of traditional nativities, but that alley is incredibly crowded during Christmas because it is quite a tradition for neapolitans to have a walk in that alley during that period. Here the weather is mild in winter. Ofc your tolerance to cold depends on the country you come from. If you come from the Caribbeans , I am sure you will find Naples on Christmas cold. If you come from New York you will find the weather mild.

So would you enjoy visiting the suburbs of London, or the banlieu in Paris or many ugly US streets full of homeless? go try Detroit or Frisco for example...if Napoli is shit there are many much worse places to visit...

Well that's pretty obvious. It is a high rise urban ghetto, inhabited by some pretty unfortunate and also some very unsavoury characters. Like all areas of the world one should not generalise. I'm pretty sure that there are some very nice and genuine people who happen to live among the criminals simply because of economic circumstances.

Yes. Correct. It is a hole. But great cheap bars for beer. Get fucked up. Love it. If you are a teacher or librarian, maybe not for you. I got rocked every night with female interactions in my hotel room. Love Italy

Aw no Naples is a really pretty place to.explore. If you want to avoid overspending, eat in the little restaurants down the narrow streets rather than the places near the main attractions.

I’m going in September myself but I think a lot of people shit on Naples as it’s a working city. Don’t worry mate you could always visit Birmingham in the uk or even worse London that’s a shithole 😂

I was just there, if you can cancel and go literally anywhere else in Italy I strongly recommend it. Went to 7 cities and 3 small towns during my trip and Napoli was by far the biggest waste of money. Go to sienna if you can or Florence or Rome.
