For me while the pain wasn't horrible, it does sting. Afterward it was sore like a sunburn. There's no way I could have gone out directly afterward because my face was bright red. It does simmer down and is more like a light flush by the next day which is fine with makeup, but do not have plans the night of treatment unless you don't care about showing up looking like a tomato.

The only thing is you have to keep getting it done for it to actually be effective. It gets expensive.

I ended up getting Halo laser and wished I had invested all of that money on BBL treatments every few months.
