This is really educating. I’m in my mid 20s and I watched my mom not tolerate nonsense from my dad. They are not even together no more. I watched her put her strength as a man and tolerated no nonsense not even from her family. I had a relationship that he spoke with disrespect with me once and I gave him back. He broke up with me stating that two men can’t be in a relationship… lol. My friends had me all bs talks that I can’t be like this with men and that men won’t find me attractive. Guess what! I’m with the most amazing man ever. Ladies! Don’t settle for less!!

FT, this was nice! Lemme just add.. I watched this entire video hoping that you'd touch on the most important aspect of a relationship. A relationship with God. If that part isn't highlighted and isn't FIRST established, all the things said in this video would fall apart like a pack of cards. I personally think everyone should date with the intent of marriage otherwise not at all because you will end up falling into the temptation of sin... before jumping into a relationship you must first of all find out what God says about you, to you and who you should be with. Most people tend to want God results without God Himself. It's not a relationship joined together that can't be broken, it's a relationship God has joined together. We see people going into relationships with the wrong mindset, accepting everything God's Word has said is wrong to be right and expect to live in a fairytale of a marriage. That is not to say if you follow God, you won't encounter challenges but yes, He will deliver out of them all. A relationship should be a triangle; with God at the top and then the man and woman together looking up to their Maker.. no way you can go wrong when you put pleasing God before your desires which as humans can tend to be selfish, wrong and full of deception.💕

There's a shame attached to women when they walk out from a marriage no matter who is at fault. We're expected to "keep a man." And the fact that society also shames women for being single at certain age so the pressure makes a lot of women settle for less. I hope we can all do better and have the confidence to shut down people who project their insecurity on us.

So, I'm making another comment, because I made my first comment only halfway into the video. Talk about abuse 😁😁 First off, I'm so sorry two beautiful women like you both have gone through abusive relationships, and I'm complete thankful you both have had the courage to leave them. Applause to Njideka leaving a whole marriage. That's amazing. I wish everyone, especially we ladies, knew that humans are very intentional in their actions, regardless of which side of the good-bad spectrum they are on. If they are being hurtful, treating you badly, they know what they're doing. There's frankly no need to stay, to explain to them how to do better. If you've even had the time to do it once, then you shouldn't have to do it again. I wish people would understand that love is the barest minimum that should keep a person in a relationship. As Njideka said, and I'm only going to reiterate with a story, when I left a certain relationship I was in, I told the guy I was done. And he said to me "done? I thought you liked me!" with so much indignation. Lol. I told him "me liking you, having feelings for you, is the most irrelevant thing in the world. You exhaust me, and I'm constantly tired because of you." And that love thing, two weeks into the relationship? Even in 6 months, I do not want to hear it. Which is true! A man shouldn't be telling you "I love you" 2 weeks, 1 month into a relationship, because if he isn't being manipulative, then he's really clueless. Love grows with time. It's not the constant butterflies you feel during the honeymoon stage. Go through that stage first, get to the one where you guys have the little arguments, see if you still want to be with them. Lastly, I have a more lovely admiration for you FT, and I like Njideka too; just knowing her today. You both are so mature, and I'm looking forward to seeing more content from you FT. I have a feeling this is a series that I'm going to truly truly love. Keep up the good work Frances❣️❣️❣️
