From Delhi to Incheon is direct flight or is there any layover? If I travel by train to Delhi Airport I won't need to pay for flight. The NIIED will cover the flight expense. Right? Don't they give option to travel from Mumbai Airport to Incheon if there are flights available?

It depends on the flight which is usually Air India or Korean Air and they have direct flights from Delhi to Incheon. NIIED don’t cover domestic flights or travel expenses if you come to Delhi by train you have to bear the cost. Also, if you come Delhi it will be much more smooth and convenient process as everyone knows about GKS and you get clear checks at the immigration process at Delhi Airport. But from Mumbai you can have flights to Incheon but recently One of my friend came via Mumbai and she faced a lot of problems at the last moment and almost missed her flight. So I would highly recommend you to travel to Delhi and board your flight from there. Good luck🍀🍀🍀 You can reach out to me on Insta if you have more queries as I’m more active there!!! You can change but you have to give a good reason behind this change and relate your future plans after this change well in your study plan.

Hi Chavi, you mentioned that we need to manage the expenses for 1-2 months before NIIED starts giving us our allowance. Do they refund it later or is it something to be considered as our own added expense? Also, is it possible to get the scholarship in the first go? I'm going to apply for the 2025 GKS-G and not sure if I'll be able to do it again in 2026 if I don't get it this year.

They don’t refund it because you get paid for the month when you entered the university once your ARC and bank account is ready. You can think being paid late but until you get paid for that duration you need to use your own money.

Hi Farheen!🌷🤗 Before applying it’s not mandatory to have any language proficiency score but if you do it increases your chances of selection. Also, I’ve heard from 2025 it will be mandatory so check guidelines before you start preparing. It depends on your department what TOPIK level they need for accepting you after one year language course. Mostly Ph.D. Courses in Science requires level 3 which can be achieved in 1year language course! So you can decide accordingly if you do well in language I have seen people achieving level 5 also but it takes lot of effort. Good luck!!🩵🌷🫶🏻🍀🪷

Yes. It is possible but you should be able to express the need to change and relate psychology with the studies that you did in the past. If you have a good reason to pursue phd in a different field in your PS and SOP then it is possible. Good luck🫶🏻🌷🍀❤️🤗
