My brother got a leech on his leg in Beechworth about 25 years ago when we were kids. This takes me back.

Thanks for taking us along for the ride and giving us some potted history. You sure get to explore some great country.

Another nice video, no beaches in Beechworth, no gulls in Gulgong but there is mud in Mudgee.

Born in Wangaratta, raised in Eldorado. Family had an Almond Orchard and the Dredge hole was the swimming hole. It was floating back then and the roof was a great jumping platform. Terrific Redfin fishing as well. Vandals got on board at one stage and started dissmantling anything of value. In particular Copper wire and electrical components. It was a magnificent site when you stood on the bank next to it. It was huge. The noise of the bucket chain running was heard 25 miles away in the right conditions. The work siren is now the fire siren on the CFA shed in Eldorado.
