Thank you for this post; I now have a better idea what to gift people in India when I'll visit next time. Last time the chocholate didn't really survived due to the heat; nuts seem to be a better option. Also did not even think about cosmetics. Thanks for watching! 😊 I didn’t unwrap the gift items and carried them in their original packaging. As for the clothes, I did remove the tags-not for customs reasons, but because I preferred not to include the price tags when giving gifts.

Mine did but they are out of that model . Yes, you are right always check the voltage supported for any electronic item that you plan to carry with you to India. I took one massager once before this trip and that didn't worked .

Yup it worked for Indian Volatage as well without any adapter. They have provided the changer in the pack itself.

Nope they were in good shape . The checked in luggage is usually in low temperature . Also try to keep those in a Ikea box to be more protective .Also we travelled during the winters so that might have helped as well .

We got it from Costco and we were there at costco last week and we saw those jackets were there not sure which city you are in but those jackets are amazing and really affordable . If i remember it correctly it was like $10 - $12 max . Great gift option i got it for my mother in law and her sisters and they loved it .

It totally depends on the quantity that you are carrying . For example a package of HERSHEY'S chocolate can be between $14 - $18 for 1 KG. It totally depends on the quantity and brand of the chocolates. And the same goes for clothes. Each item is different price based on the brand and material.

The total flight duration from India to United States is 17 hours, 21 minutes if you get a direct flight. And then it also depends where in India you are taking flight from. Jaise New Delhi se ya Mumbai se ., And same yaha pe kaunsi city mein app land karoge like New York or washington or LA . And then agar direct flight nahi mili toh layover time add ho jata hai .
