Such a shame he did not understand where he truly sat within the world. Even the worst movies were still decent because of him. He could have taken time off from acting for a few years and all most of us would have done was waited for his return. Candy was one of very few actors who could make me laugh and cry at the same time. I don't think there is one movie he was in that I didn't end up enjoying.... well at least his parts :)! I so wish his life hadn't ended when he did because I would have loved to have seen what else he ended up doing. Kinda sad he did not realize how truly loved he was.
@josh2444113 күн бұрын
I honestly feel that if John candy was still alive today that he would’ve been like Rick Morranis and ultimately just walk away from acting and the spotlight. Like besides the occasional guest spot and voice acting, he would’ve started living a quiet life in Canada.

I wish John Candy understood how much he meant to people. Even in the current year, he could go to any city and there'd be a line of people wanting to meet him and talk to him and buy him a beer or get dinner with him. All because they loved how great and actor he was and how much he made people laugh. He won in life. He did what many of us aspire to do...enrich the lives of others.

These amazing guys who’d make you laugh, feel warm, comfortable, the aura of family life just glowed!!! Hurts hearing these 2 guys where very insecure and anxious about pleasing others… meanwhile they where doing more… making us happy, content, loved, normal, so many good things… brings happy and sad tears as I write this, RIP fellows…
