Things Went Bad! - Testing The Samurai - Bear Swamp

Well it certainly runs good and the tires did great. Walked across the pit like it was nothing. Hit a rut hard and the bump stop got stuck on the pad. The sway bar ended up getting bent. Not sure if it bent due to being stuck over on one side so long. Or if it bent first and caused the bump stop to get stuck under the pad. Kinda one of the the disadvantages of running a revers triangulated 4 link.

He shifted right off the trans break. Goes through the gears as fast as you can shift it. Plus not shifting into third when you don’t need to. Already through the mud or hitting a deep hole. Let it eat.

Shift light is just for the 1-2 shift. After that it’s basically uselesss

@@Buddy713 but no. There was no shift. That samurai doesn't have a double clutch transmission like a Lambo. It has...maybe 3 gears, and they're all low.

@@sherlockholmez8764 it’s an automatic. Trans break of the line and instantly shifted into second gear. You won’t see it any real rpm drop as it’s right back on the limiter as soon as it shifts.

Almost looks like the pad where yhe bump stop hits is not so centered under it. ...looks kinda " tweeked " . This is what shake downs are for though. Shes gonna be a mean bish i reckon 😊

Not really a shake down. Ran all last year. Yeah the pad is bent over because the bump stop got stuck under it.
