I once parked my car in the parking area of Chaoyang Park in Beijing and forgot to close the window. It rained that day, and when I returned, I found that someone had covered the window with a plastic sheet. Although the car still leaked, it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

Freedom of buying medicine from drug stores everywhere without a prescription? Not always. I tried to buy some medicine for pain relief but couldn't because I did not have the certificate required. Had to ask my wife to buy it. Freedom of fishing at random lake or river without a license.. There are a number of places where fishing is not allowed and there are signs saying so. However, they are generally ignored. Where I live, Fishing has been banned from March 1st to May 31st on inland waterways. Again that has been ignored as there are dozens of people fishing. No one gets arrested for breaking the law on fishing. Drones are allowed in China under the following conditions: Maximum altitude: 120m (400ft); anything higher necessitates a CAAC commercial license. Most drones, including the famous DJI brand, automatically set the maximum altitude to 120m and warn you if you manually adjust the maximum altitude settings. Maximum Distance: China, like many other countries, requires your drone to have a VLOS, or “Visual Line of Sight.” Put another way, you must fly with your drone in sight. Maximum Weight: China requires real-name drone registration for drones weighing more than 250 grams (.55lbs). Any drone weighing more than 7kg (15 lbs) requires a special CAAC license. And, yes, because the DJI Mavic Mini weighs less than 250 grams, you do not need to register it.

Longer than that China is a harbinger for these Western Countries electing these right wing Governments looking to close off their borders China spent the better part of a millennia trading places with what is now India for top economy in the world By the 1430s it was the top economy and technological leader in the world . But their emperor at the time started the slow process of closing in on itself closing off its borders/a type of nationalism Like we are seeing with far right Governments and the Americans these days This lead to 400 years of decline and then an eventual semi colonization of China for 100 more years Where even up to the 1980s China was 88% in abject poverty These days they are back and they never did run up the external debt like the Americans are running up these days

You need to use VPN to upload this video. The PRC restricts residents' access to certain domains. Isn't this something the Myanmar military government learned from China? You're only using a small portion of China that you see to define the entire country, just like how not all of the United States is filled with homeless people living in tents, as you well know. And Chinese people clearly discriminate against Xinjiang people. Of course, the majority of people are friendly. Isn't that the case in the United States too? Are there more racists than normal people? Do you know how many people were beaten and arrested by the police during the Hong Kong anti-extradition protests? Do you know what happened to the journalist who first reported Wuhan as the epicenter of the COVID-19 outbreak in China? Her name is Zhang Zhan. You better find this journalist and hope she's still alive.

What’s interesting is that many Western vloggers love to use the Chinese police as their video covers - whether they love or hate China. It seems that in the eyes of Westerners, China is a military state/police state, and Chinese people are very afraid of the police. On the contrary, we Chinese call soldiers "people's son & brother army". The most reassuring thing is to see the soldier or police. In the eyes of most people, the police/soldiers are the most trusted people besides their own family members. A mother with her baby in public who wants to use the restroom will hand the baby over to a nearby police officer. People who violate traffic rules but are not convinced will loudly argue with the police without any fear. There was a shortage of masks in the early days of Covid, and people would donate their masks to the police station. When drivers drive pass a police officer on duty, they will hand them a bottle of water. Some little kids even hug a policeman when they see him on the street.

When America was opening up by the immigrants from Europe which was suffering from famine, guns were common to kill and steal the lands of the native American Indians. The richer landowners would hire gunslingers to rob the defenceless homesteaders of their land. Hence America was built with guns. Power comes from the gun. I could be wrong but read the book by Jack Schafer's book "Shane"

When the Irish came over their was a potato famine in Ireland in 1852. Roughly four hundred years after the start of colonization in the Americas and gun were NOT common. Most settlers were unarmed. The rich weren't robbing the poor land owners as a matter of course. Why would they? Most of the country was effective empty. You could go days without ever seeing anyone. There was some land theft but it was Federal Government who granted the railroads 2 miles to either side of the track. If you had a homestead in that zone you had to go. Lastly Shane is fiction. If you're going to recommend fiction how about Harry Potter. It has wizards in it.

Talking about safety, PRC is indeed a very safe country to travel. One of the reasons is CCTV cameras are everywhere so every crime will be caught on tape, and they help police officers to track down those criminals. I know the west would scream "privacy", but I think with those cameras, I would feel alot safer. Not to mention that I watched other China youtuber that he discovered a car left unattended on the street with window down and unlocked.

Actually there are good places in the US too. But the difference between the US and China is in the US the rich and those who can afford wall themselves in nice areas and exclude the rest outside in poor enclaves while China has official policy to lift the poor in poor regions and include them in common prosperity. You can tell a country's health by how it treats the bottom 20%.

Five minutes later I realized my wallet was gone, so I went back to look for it, but it was gone. In 2014, a Tibetan Chinese from occupied South Tibet went to old Delhi and was beaten to death because he 'looks Chinese'. It's the reason why cultural exhange is very important, it's more easier to believe what mass media want you know, more than see the true.

@@user-ym8jn9ug2p thanks for the reply, infact we are talking for 95% of Chinese people with 95% of amercian's cultural exchange, then if democracy that let children be killed in Gaza or comunism that control public al opinion of 1 billion and half people which is better, should waiting for the end of Third World War, for me it's better to stop it before it happen with ideas exchange.

Welcome to China. Why is it allowed to drink beer in the street, but Chinese people don't drink it? First of all, China does not advocate drinking culture, and second, people are usually busy in the daytime for life. Wait until the evening work is finished, to have a barbecue and a beer is to enjoy.❤❤❤

Always a good job, Lizzy. I like your intelligent descriptions and you have a nice clear speaking voice and SA accent. I haven't been watching long but saw your before and after pics - how did you lose 20 kg? I'm on a carnivore high fat low carb diet and it works really well. I'm 74 and back down to my 21 yr. old weight. Why are you still wearing fat person sweatshirt clothing? Why not dress normally for your now-slim physique?

Minorities in China are very powerful! They get extra points on the college entrance exam, about 10 points, and the government sends them beef and mutton for their festivals. This was told to me by a minority friend. I am Han, and in China we are the lowest class. 30 years ago, if a minority killed a Han, they would not be sentenced to death. They would only be sentenced to death if they killed two Hans. However, if a Han killed a minority, he would be sentenced to death. This is all true, so there is no discrimination against minorities in China.

In the US, the freedom to own guns and drugs is more important than alcohol, because capitalist countries place more importance on capital safety. In China, the freedom to own alcohol is obviously better than guns and drugs, in addition to historical reasons, it is also because China places more importance on people's livelihood.
