1:22 - Err, sea foam is not always safe, just because there are no factories doesnt mean that its not pollution free. A lot of the time the sea foam contains runoff pollutants from farms in the form of polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs) which is a persistent organic pollutant, and roads, as well as treated sewage discharge which gets pumped out. Then on top of that you have the breakdown of marine algae. So sure, it might be 'safe' to go in, but honestly would you risk the chance?

I am Australian. I am 72 years old. I can't remember the last time I saw a spider in my house in fact I rarely see them in my yard. There is a very large nature reserve at the end of my street. I am sure there are snakes in there but despite the fact that I walk in there regularly I haven't seen a snake in over fifty years.

Australia I probably can't survive a day, there are too many terrible insects
@davidberriman590316 күн бұрын
@@WeaponTheory-j5h Oh it is terrible. I have lived here for 72 years. The number of bites and stings I have suffered in my lifetime is horrific. About thirty years ago I was stung by a bee and about ten years ago I was stung by a wasp. Ignore these stupid clips. They probably haven't been here. You have mountain lions over there haven't you and rattle snakes too. How many times have you been bitten?
@dangoncrediblemoments16 күн бұрын
@@davidberriman5903 It’s interesting how nature can be so close yet remain elusive. Even with a nature reserve right near your street, it seems the wildlife tends to stay out of sight! It must be peaceful to walk in such a natural space without worrying about encountering snakes or spiders.

11:19 I lived in the Daintree for a few years and the 2 things I was told to never forget. Don't go near waterways at dawn or dusk and stay away from this killer, the Cassowary, that can disembowel you with their middle claw. I remember seeing tourists trying to pat them despite the many signs telling you not to. They've killed people.

from the major cities in the west of Australia it's about a 4.5-hour flight to New Zealand and you don't have to worry about creepy crawlies that'll kill you. In Australia I live close to a Tiger snake breeding ground. I had to take me elderly dog to the emergency vet a couple of weeks ago because he had a massive seizure which was really frightening. But worse still, I was only there for an hour and within that time four pets (one cat and three dogs) were brought in with snake bites. The wee cat died. can't tell you how many people I know lose their pets to snake bites over here. It's truly shocking. Not only that the antivenom will cost you about $10, 000 +. It's so heartbreaking. My wee dog is okay even though he's had a couple of few minor seizures since then. NZ/Aotearoa might shake occasionally but if it's not flooding there are bush fires over here. I went through the tragic 2009 fires ones and had to evacuate seven times. It was over a month of abject terror that put me into end stage renal failure. Many of those fires were deliberately lit. I went back to NZ with my wee dog, but my sister dragged me back and now I'm stuck here because my dog can't fly with his heart condition. And then there was the back-pack murders, and a few other serial killers plus heaps of other nefarious goings on. Hope you have a great holiday; you have been warned.

Pythons in the roof us common in the outer areas, I have one. Cobras aren't Australian so that's strange. Sawfish aren't fished for, they are protected. Huntsman are harmless but love to fall on you. I've had one land on my face, had to do everything I could not to punch myself in the face.😂 Never drive into water, you have no idea what's in it, or not. Last video is 2 pythons fighting, where's the female?😂 close.
