Did yk that the dab was actually explained by Amy Wright (head choreographer) in a vid? She said that in the more recent series (at the time, that was 4,5, and 6) they always incorporated a popular dance move of the time. S4 it was wip nae nae (seen in the gc dance with the new A-Troupe), S5 had the dab, and S6 had the floss (boy hip-hop routine). And for the last one, being able to do that move myself, it's just a case of flexibility. The more flexible u r, the easier it is to keep ur upper body on the ground. Hope this helps!

I did notice that they both had a dab and I was disgusted. Another important reason that the show went downhill is because of the quality of dancing. There used to be great dancers like West, Daniel, Michelle and Giselle and now there’s Ozzy and Finn. The chore was impacted as-well which can be represented by the dance “I know you wanna” to the funder bros dance

Though new ones are also good.. In S1- S3, The combination of dancing skills was unique. Even those who were not the most versatile had come out of their comfort zones. Whereas there seems to be gaps in dancing from S4 onwards. I think however gradually that gap is overcome now. By S6, almost all were in same level. At least most of them. Still S1- S3 dancing had more team spirit, team dancing than individual highlights. Comparatively S6 somewhat came to that level, Not exact level but at least 70% close. But again it's all messed up it seems.

Another reason why Noah hugs Richelle instead of Jacquie is, Noah and Richelle had many very emotional moments at regionals because they have been dancing together since J Troop and now Noah is leaving. Another reason is Myles(Noah) and Briar(Richelle) are dating IRL and have been for a while

As a dancer, with some moves like that, it's incorrect to lift your foot off the ground. It relys fully on what their choreo was. I wouldn't downright say they messed up or made a mistake, but they all did it slightly differently.

I noticed the ripple effect, but it wasn't completely "smooth" and there were some very slight timing issues, so I wasn't sure if it was intended, or if Briar was just too early, but I see what you mean, and thank you for commenting! It's good to have these things pointed out 😊👍
