i got cse in Vellore campus with a rank of 22k . In category 5.. it is very expensive considering that all facilities are even costlier(like gym and swimming pool is 3k per sem).. .. but my parents said- " dont think bout money .. it is a good college"... Pros: Infrastructure, academic culture, FFCS, exposure to research, exposure to foreign kind culture, preparation for placements, campus placement, Good Hostel(24/7 electricity water), library, sports, gymnasium, WiFi, smart class, examination system. Cons: 1. Number of students per class/lab is very high (60-70). As per world standard it should be 12-32. Student/faculty ratio is very high in CS. It's around 40. All others are below 29. Where as in world class universities it is 12-19 students/faculty. It's the main reason for which VIT is not getting a good rank in QS/Times world university ranking. Now it's in the rank slab of 800-1000 as per QS-2019 ranking. 2. There are no extra labs to practice other than the lab session. 3. Faculties are not getting their desired subjects to teach many a times (In CS). If a faculty is getting a subject undesirably, you can not expect much from the faculty. 4. Attendance requirement should be calculated from the CGPA. Like for 8cgpa- 70% and so on. Nobody should get 100% attendance exemption with out prior permission. (Not even students >9 CGPA). 5. Expensive. Semester Fee and Hostel fee are very high. 6. Management quota for seats, which decreases the overall quality of students in a class. 7. Academic Pressure is very high.

They can't because if they do, they'll be asked to take down the video by VIT. They keep a close watch on all of their students' all social media accounts, given their insecurity about their reputation. If any of their students talk trash about them on Internet & they see it, he/she will be called by the committee facing months of trouble, 1 fine, & a possible suspension in case the student refuses to delete the comment/post criticizing VIT.

Hrithik Jaiswal College is of backward thinking. A lot of mass recruitments if you are average in your class. A lot of people study here and sometimes it gets suffocating and you can get lost in the crowd or the professors are unable to give you their time.

Hey Sanjeev. As Vivek said placement depends on your talent. I am a final year CSE student in VIT Vellore, joined in Category 3 ( close to 4.5 lakh fees per year). If you get past the ROI concerns, and focus solely on the learning, you will get placed in a good company. I would advice you to focus on what you truly want, and explore that, instead of just running behind the package. Most of my friends/seniors are not happy with the jobs even after getting decent pay. So Passion>>>>Money. PS. I got a into a super dream company (10+ LPA).

Thank you for watching the video, As of now everything depends on your interest, i would say every branch is good but i would also say that go according to your interest, Now placements..... very huge and good companies come to this college ....again it depends on you that how much package you will get if that's what you want.
