As a VIT alumnus, I would probably not recommend it to upcoming batches. With the expanding batch size and more campuses coming up the competition for an average VITian remains the same as it did in JEE. It is true that the professors are good, there are chances for development just like any good ranked NIT/mid-level IITs but the large size of batches offsets a lot out of it. Definitely better than LPU and a lot of other private colleges but not in league with BITS.

The bunk thing is not about classes. It's hostel attendance. Usually a person comes at around 10:30pm to your rooms to take attendance. If you are not in the hostel block after curfewe, they will ask around where the person has gone. If they cannot find the guy, then they will call his parents. The penalty is rarely imposed.

There are quite a few institutes that offer full credit transfer to a foreign University after 2 years studying B.Tech in India and 2 year in foreign Univ. Manipal, Narsee Monjee, Thapar, UPES, SRM, VIT, Sharda, LPU, Christ, Chitkara are some which are offering such programs. If you can cover such programs in a video, it would be great. Which amongst these Indian Universities have the best tie-ups. Advantages/disadvantages. Any pitfalls. Does one get work visa after finishing the final 2 years in the foreign University. Post study visa for what duration. Are student eligible for placements through the foreign University. Thanks

The rule for 9 gpa is slightly wrong, they dont just see the last semester gpa, they see the cumulative of all the previous semesters and see if that is greater than 9 cgpa

Bhaiya the fee structure is completely different. Like during their online counselling, they had 5 categories. Category 1 had the fee structure you showed in the video and it increases . Cat 5's fees is ~ 5 lacs. They don't show this anywhere on the site and Cat 1 is always filled by students who are in the top 20k in entrance exam

Bhaiya , i'm a second year vit vellore student . The ffcs thing you mentioned, it's hoax . Vitians call it as "fully fucked credit system" . Hardly students get to choose their courses . Also , the exam pressure is extreme . Students might tend to opt out . 6k for failing an exam , which is not an unnatural thing. Lest , whatever you said , was absolutely correct.
