4:05 Not totally related, but I wonder if we are conflating correlation and causation regarding minimal Linux and productivity. I think it is more likely that Vim users and the like were already super conscientious programmers and less likely that using those tools makes you super efficient all of a sudden. Note how most people who get into these kinds of tools are typically motivated by hitting a wall propped up by more common, traditional tools.

I'm constantly torn between Arch and Fedora. I use Fedora for work. Arch for everything else.
