Although I do have to mention that although the Dutch did colonise parts of southern India, it was not under one political authority as the other Asian colonies were.

Well we Italian never trade in slave with our colony. We did terrible things to Etiopia but was under a bald man that can't keep his head straight. Otherwise we conquer somalia and Eritrean by diplomatic situation. The only conquered with force was some street in china (boxer) and libia and Dodecaneso (turkey) (if we won't consider such bald too bold man). And the most terrifying thing done in the colony was build structure for work and apartheid (bad but could be worst).
