Christianity is the only religion that asks you to really think. Jesus wants us to trust Him blindly AND deeply contemplate His words. At some point, every other religion becomes cult-like, telling its followers to just digest the religion's claims and beliefs, but Jesus says, "Stop, think about it. Once you do, you'll see why I am the way, the truth, and the life." Thinking is trusting.

Thinking about my ex fiancé who I tried to reconnect with who told me he’s not in a place to be in a relationship. He’s distant from God and has a hard heart. I prayed for him to be healed and find Christ. Now idk where I’m going in this life bc in all the pain I thought God would bring us back together and that was my prayer but he doesn’t want that. Maybe that’s God’s will and I have to learn to accept that. Please pray for me.

I need to think more about my choices. I should not solely do things out of a routine or to avoid thinking. There’s nothing that I’m gonna deal with that He cannot handle is what I’m going to ‘Think About’ moving forward. I think about where I am in this life, where I was and where will I be as I’m rebuilding from a physical new place from where I was. Trusting and believing it is a part of Gods plan. Why am I still thinking this way about it all. Knowing that I’m blessed beyond measure and all of my needs He has, does and will continue to meet. That’s me trusting and me still thinking way too much. Lord, I pray humbly petitioning You who is exceedingly able to remove the thoughts of doubt from my mind in this day and beyond. I needed to hear this! I was not sure if I should get back in to nursing school, for my second try. I kept thinking maybe I’m not smart enough. Listening to this at the right moment of me in doubt made me realize, and I thought i just need to trust in the lord and believe I will become a registered nurse!

I'm thinking way too much about my past and it's causing me to view my future through the lens of who I used to be. But the Lord has shown me that I am a new creation in Him. And rather than fixating on who I was before, I should recognise all the ways in which God is shaping me now to become more like Him. Then as for my future, He's showing me that my perspective should be eternal - not thinking only of what will benefit me in this life, but thinking of: 1) How I can serve God. 2) How I can serve others. Because ultimately, it's only those two things that will count in the end.

Thank you❤ trying to figure out what to do for a living right now so this is perfectly timed. I chose a major in college and now a job following college based on trying to impress those around me. I feel lost and hopeless and realized that that is where my own decisions and the guidance of others will lead me. I really want to work in education with kids or some type of ministry and I am praying to let go of the expectations or myself and others to fully let in the purpose God wants for me. This was such a good episode! Thank you Alex and Lokelani. I've been thinking about what other people think of me. But, I now know that thinking deeply about the words written to me and for me will give me the best confidence I can have. I think back to 1 Samuel of how God looks at the heart and what Peter says about the appearance of women and I know that it's our hearts, character and overall presence that I bring to the world that attracts people. I have to think this way to have the right mindset.

I need to be thinking MORE about God and Jesus Christ and to obey him, to trust in him. To read his word daily, all the time whenever I get the chance to. Always praying and talking to God. I think about provision my retirement my child’s future. Then I think about how God has shown up and how Jesus willingly chose to be the sacrificial lamb so that my soul and my needs are taken care of. I think about deepening my trust in God and moving away from what the lie that I control my provision by working multiple jobs etc..

I’m a very big logical thinker and I hated that about myself b/c I wanted to just trust like every other devout Christian and stop thinking. But to know now that to think is to trust, let’s me know God doesn’t want me to suppress the things that make me, me; he just wants me to look to him, submit to him so he can show me how to steward the uniqueness and gifts he’s given me to glorify his name!

I tend to think about the trials I’m currently going through and the effect they have and just how hard life is. I need to think about God more and His word, how good He is and to continually trust in His word, and whom He is. He’s a great Father who loves us like no other.

🤦🏾‍♂️Ok, lets think. Isaiah 7, the virgin birth "prophecy." Isaiah tells King Ahaz to look for a child born of a virgin as a sign that god would save Judah from the coming attack from the Assyrians. 🤔 How could Ahaz have been looking for Jesus (the messiah) if he was born 700 years after the Assyrians already conquered Judah??? Read ur bible people, without ur "word of god" sunglasses on. THINK and seek truth, not confirmation of ur beliefs.
