Definitely a great chapter! This is my 4 or 5th time listening to/ reading this book. Lol. I like different versions. I believe they all may resonate differently at one time or another, based on your season in life. I always get something new from it each time, so it’s definitely one of my go to’s when there’s a new season unfolding in my life. Thanks for the reply 😍

Was at the gym the other day and saw someone reading this on the bike machine whatever it's called . Told him this book changed my life and it made me want to go thru the steps and do the exercises this book teaches again . This book changes the narrative of who you are in your brain in this world. Makes me feel. I was meant to be here and take up space and be known. I have the power once I know I do.

Awesome video 🔥 Just wanted to share some of the things I picked up while listening that I think would be of utmost benefit to you Napoleon Hill said that in all the 13 principles that there's going to be THAT one where you would find the secret and where everything would click for you. And I found out that in almost all the stories, there was a common thread that ran through them. It was something that is so common that you would casually ignore it. That one thing is PERSISTENCE. Napoleon Hill emphasized that they all made PERSISTENT CONTINUOUS EFFORTS to attain their desired outcome. Barnes decided to seek a partnership with Edison and even though he didn't get it at first, he STAYED until the opportunity arose Henry Ford demanded he get the 8-cylinder engine NO MATTER WHAT. He refused to believe it was impossible. Marshal Field said he'll build the greatest store NO MATTER how many times it gets burned down. This goes to show that we cannot attain our goals if we are giving up after one obstacle or roadblock. We need to continue to believe and take action. "The whole course of things goes to teach us faith- We only need obey". - Emerson

Yea, I picked up on that as well, also the one about, if you think you can or can't... You're right.

Hmmm, I thought it was definite of purpose...knowing what you want, but persistence makes the most sense. Once you know what you want you must be persistent to arrive at your goal.😊

I wanna share something with everyone listening to this book. There is a moment at one hour nine minutes and two seconds were the author talks about a man who was terminally ill and is about to be operated and the doctor doesn’t seem much. Hope neither does the nurse, but the patient still tells, the he’ll see him in a couple of minutes and he’s gonna be fine. And the outcome of the story is that the man does survive and the doctor says it was his willingness to live. That part resonated with me so much, you see my mother was shot eight times by ex-husband, was two years old at the moment. The doctors didn’t see much hope when she was going to be operated. This is what they told my aunt, everyone, my mother made it through the surgery And is here with me today I’m 45 years old today. I asked my aunt how my mother survived to her. She told me well. The doctor back then said that your mother‘s willingness to want to live, helped her survive. My mother me , “I couldn’t bare the thought of you being alone without your mother , I had to live one way or another “ .

6 Definite Practical Steps for Transmuting the Desire for Riches into the Financial Equivalent: 1. Fixing your mind to an exact amount of money you desire 2. Determine exactly what you intend to give in return for the money you desire 3. Establish a definite date for when you intend to possess the money you desire 4. Create a definite plan for carrying out your desire and begin at once whether you are ready or not to put this plan into action 5. Write out a clear concise statement of the amount of money you intend to acquire, name the time limit for its acquisition, state you intend to give in return for your money, and describe clearly the plan you intend to accumulate it 6. Read your written statement aloud twice daily; once just before retiring at night and once after arising in the morning. As you read, see, and feel and believe yourself already in possession of the money

The repetition gets so grating at times. “This book will give you the knowledge you need. Make sure you really read this book. If you haven’t been sold on the idea of how good this book is, read it again. You’ll have to jump around to different chapters until you agree with every single idea in this book.” I understand repetition, but lets use it on concepts and ideas, not on the obvious and boring. About 2 and a half hours in now, I feel like I’ve hardly learned anything profound yet.
