There is a common denominator among most very rich people. That is, They never set out to be rich. They set out to be successful. Wealth became a by-product of the success. There are billions of people failing to become rich because they set out to become so. Set out to be successful in whatever you do and build on it.

The desire for money is the same thing... money is just energy. But you have to have a high vibration. The man at one 43 million was the one who wanted to be rich. Every day he put a dollar into the lottery for four years, and he won $43 million on the fourth year.

That was Jesus saying it to his disciples who were close to him, not the audience. He said have faith in me, not the source which will make you rich. Jesus said he will take care of our needs, not our wants. “The Secret” is a lie made by occultist russian writer at 1877 (or the ideology of the Law of Attraction) which slowly spread in the western world, and is believable by even Christians, because it claims to use Bible verses. But it is not, I just debunked a false verse used. Don’t be deceived folks!!

I did this comment 4 years ago ! ! I can attest to some of these things he says .. I took a risk and followed my passion and ended up getting what I desired ( say 50%) .. it was a nice random thing happened but after that event my desire went weak I was getting comfortable with where I was and my actions was a bit vague . Man this is crazy but now I just stumbled upon this and I’ll be researching this stuff

"We already know what to do, yet we can't do it." It's not that you cannot do it, it's that your desire to accomplish your goal is not strong enough. When you have definiteness of purpose (when you know exactly what you want) and a burning desire (being determined to get what you want, no matter how long it may take you, or what price you must pay) to go with it, you will take action on it every second you possibly can, because nothing else matters. You don't need to love the journey, per say, you just need to crave the end result so much, that the work you must put in becomes irrelevant. You need to be willing to do anything it takes to transform your desire into its physical equivalent

In the bible it mentions three important things: Love, Faith, and Hope, but that the most important of the three is Love, on the business side multi-millionaires and billionaires most of the time mention that you must find that which you are mostly passionate about and also to contribute massively to the world in selling them a solution to a common problem, loving what you do and contributing are two elements of love, it also mentions that love overcomes fear, in business fear are the limiting beliefs that hold us back from achieving success, once I made a comparison between those who fear heights and those who don't, the ones that don't fear talk about the adrenaline rush they get from the experience of skydiving or mountain climbing and how much they love being in high places but those who fear heights think about the worst case scenario, so in conclusion love is the drive that moves people to action

Actually, people DON'T KNOW what to do. When you consider that over 95% of all people FAIL when it comes to financial prosperity, you must come to the conclusion that a general knowledge of prosperity is non-existent. Something else to consider is that the paradigm of "instant gratification" can be completely eliminated and replaced with a realistic set of thought processes. Rather than beat people over the head with worthless accusations and put-downs, I believe you would be better serving to educate them on overcoming the poverty mentality and teach them the true path to lasting prosperity.

Actually, the combination of emotion with thoughts is what manifests things. In all of my experiences of "miracles" happening, this was the case. For instance, I was praying to God to please please help me out of a desperate financial situation, I was crying, praying, then came to a moment of peace and faith that it would happen. When I got home in the mail was a check for $150. All examples had specific emotions in connection with specific thoughts/desires. I hope this helps someone. :-)

That was a nice presentation Vic. I truly we are born on this Earth due to the desires we have. And what made sense to me was that we sometimes lack the motivation to act to fulfill those desires because of a lack of self esteem, that we are not worthy of success. Such feelings come to mind especially when thiings don't seem to be moving in the right direction. A strong desire and faith only can help us overcome that deficiency. Your explanation with graphics ties it all together very well.

Hill said the starting point of all achievements are first defintive goals and then "desire" & "faith". So desire and faith comes after goals. This is the order. There is no mention of goals here. To be a millionaire all you need is a thousand dollars from a thousand people. Or ten thousand dollars from just one hundred people. It doesn't have to be all at once. It can be a thousand people giving you 83.33 USD a month for a year or 833.33 USD a month for a year from just one hundred people. And you don't even have to sell a product or service either. It can be a license to rent your intellectual property. (i.e doesn't exist in real life) or just a bid to access exclusive merchandise that other people made. Hell it can even just be a donation or a sponsorship or even raised capital for some social cause. The world is too big and too connected for poverty to still exist.

Couldn't agree with you more. Am I right on this statistic that if we divide all of the money that we have right now everybody could get 3 million bucks? Of course I understand that the prices could rise drastically in this case, but only in the case of no productivity of people who will get this 3 million. If everyone tries to be maximally productive as he can, even like being super productive while watching a TV show and then arguing about it content on live TV, then we would have an abundance of products, ideas etc.

Ok I agree that this is an important principle but it is not the secret, all the principles must be applied not just one. Tonny Robbins talk abut this in an interview with Frank Kern. To me the secret is in applaying the principles, that in the end there is no secret it is just the application of principles. It is true that for evry person there will be a missing principle that will look like a secret but it is just a principle that you didn't apply.

Passion falls under your desire faith and actions. Without a passion for what you do there is no extra in your tank to both "finish what you start" and solve every issue you will (especially when times get hard and they will). To add my take on delivering success (my own journey) Napoleon's triangle of success is : YOUR DESIRE feeds YOUR FAITH feeds YOUR ACTIONS I would create a SQUARE : *INSPIRATION feeds YOUR DESIRE feeds YOUR FAITH feeds YOUR ACTIONS* *Your inspiration* can be your own or from someone else. You need that initial idea to deliver. *Your desire* has to be strong and clear (passion ensures your focused and high performing) *Your faith* in yourself to deliver on your desires (create an iron belief yourself you can do what you set out to do) *Your actions* represent your Perspiration ( your objectives crystallised as plans, your plans execution must have both pace and performance, your results must match that defined by your plans/you correct if they don't). NO SUCCESS IS DELIVERED WITHOUT A PLAN MANAGE YOUR PLAN PROPERLY YOUR SUCCESS WILL POP OUT MECHANICALLY PEOPLE FAIL BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT COMMITTED TO DELIVERING A PLAN, THEY FAIL TO PLAN, THEY FAIL TO STICK TO THE PLAN TO DELIVER WHATEVER (FINANCIAL SUCCESS IS BUT ONE GOAL YOU CAN SET FOR YOURSELF) *I can't say it any clearer than success is just a goal delivered in a plan, you must project manage your plan professionally. It's a skill anyone can learn* QED

Absolute rubbish. Whatever you want in life you have to earn it, or I'll even say take it. Because once we have a desire (goal), the Universe itself comes to our aid. If we are earnest, sincere and unwavering in the desire, we will achieve any goal we set for ourselves.

Faith and desire come naturally when we are doing something or learning about something we feel has value. Many people are in the wrong business for them or studying something that they can't relate towards. Just ask yourself , "what do I want the most ?".

This is especially true if you believe it is impossible. But for someone who believes it is possible, it is possible. You see, whatever you believe, is true for you. Really good writing (absolutely free PDF) is Success through Positive Mental Attitude. It is a lot of reading, but you can take your time. The effects of a new mindset (that is after you've changed your thinking) takes months to show. This is where most people have given up because they have no patience. Be patient. :)

I have been studying this material for the last 15yrs or so. Guess what? Not "ONCE" have i came across a book that says "HOW" to do it? HOW TO develop the "desire" , how do you DEVELOP FAITH? Not once book/cd/audio program in the last 15yrs. The talk is cheap, anyone can write a book that says things.

HI, Thanks for your question. See the chapter on Desire in Think and Grow Rich where Hill talks about Cortes burning the ships and then telling his men that the only way out was to win. What we call "drive" Hill calls "desire" When you have too many alternatives the intensity of desire is diluted. So the first thing is eliminate options to your goal (burn all boats). Hill calls this having definiteness of purpose I learned a second technique from reading Tony Robbins' book Awaken the giant within".It is the use of pain and pleasure as motivator. On a sheet of paper draw a line down the middle and on one side write down 50-100 reasons why you will benefit from achieving the goal. Then on the other side write down 50 reasons why you will lose or suffer from not achieving that goal. Then create emotion within you by "feeling" each reason on both sides of the page. Remember emotion creates motion so dont just "know" your reasons. They have to become real. See them in colour, with yourself in the picture. Hear them and imagine the feeling, Involve all your senses. And as Hill says in the chapter on desire you must persist. It will not happen in the beginning

gulelva1 Thanks for your reply. I done all that stuff. I understand the principal of the tony robbins stuff, I listened to that so many times. I alwas had difficulty getting to the "pain" aspect of it. Funny thing how things weren't going to good for me in my life and i started to review my material. I watched this video again a few days ago. Everything lead me back to the book Think And Grow Rich. For some reason something changed this time around. I have been working on Absolute faith/certainty. It hit me really hard. I put myself in a state of absolute faith/certainty and read my goals with a date and what i will give to attain them. I suddenly get it. It's like telling someone, "if you wake up every morning saying, ""Today is a wonderful day for a year. " i'll give you 10 million dollars" No one will decline that. You absolutely know you'll get the money. You're happy/driven and motivated. Just got to do this task and you get what you want. So now when i read my goals as i said, i feel that desire, passion, dedication towards me goes.

asmcriminaL I disagree, "Think and grow rich" is a KEY BOOK that changes the platform of your belief when you ingest what you've read and apply it. It then becomes MORE THAN JUST WORDS...for one your entire attitude towards the book sets you at a disadvantage of gaining something out of it if you see it as plain words that someone published. So you need to change your WAY OF THINKING TO BEGIN WITH. because you have a "It's a scam, or it's bullcrap syndrome".

"Think and Grow Rich" was a great book. Hill was an amazing salesman. However, he died broke and made most of his stories up. It was never validated that he actually met Carnegie, Ford, or Edison. Hill should have been richer than all of them since he supposedly studied them all. Just good BS,
