Thank you for that statement. There is too much idolatry and worship of great people like Jacque and Peter Joseph, and not enough people willing to put their own work in to shape society. I’ve known Jacque on a personal level, but never idolized him, I respect him and that’s enough. I got my own work to do

+Andreas Reischuck and genetics
@costascostas1760
@costascostas1760 8 жыл бұрын
I think genetics are over rated. I have seen a lot of people with conditions that would make me depressed (at least thats what I think) and yet they have achieved so much. Yes if you are short you may not be able to dunk in a basketball game - oh wait, there are people born with no legs who win gold medals in paraolympics!. Our basic instincts and drives are ingrained by genetics (ie need to breath, eat, drink, have sex, fight for our safety and the safety of our "family" blood or not) however there is so much more that the environment and culture shapes that how we respond to these instincts and drives (ie our behaviours) can be changed.
@selegash
@selegash 6 жыл бұрын
Andreas Reischuck, no one is a genius, which is part of our archaic language that erroneously tells us that we excellence is of rather natural than environmental. As Jacque himself notes in his other lectures, those who have excelled to the extent of making us consider them as “genius” are those who have been exposed to a variety of environmental conditions including skills. Only that way can we all realize that we too can excel with similar exposures.

William Kilmore II Don't worry, I'm no fan of Hillary Clinton AT ALL, I was just using Christie and Trump as two examples in this particular case.
@abcd123906
@abcd123906 8 жыл бұрын
William Kilmore II No worries; I have written comments like that before myself, so I understand. I think the lesson is not to assume things about other people before you're sure. I also get frustrated and can be abrasive when I find others' ignorance or irrationality infuriating, and I'm sure that is the case for you as well :) Jacques Fresco is a great mind, and someone we would all do well to learn from. It's a shame our world doesn't have more people like him at the helm. In comparison to someone like Jacques Fresco, the difference between Trump and Hillary may seem minor indeed, but I guess the reason I didn't include Hillary in my list is that Hillary, while dishonest, dangerous, corrupt, warmongering, and a corporate/financial shill, is not a "clown." I mentioned Trump and Christie specifically because they are such "buffoons" in ADDITION to being dishonest, dangerous, corrupt, etc... (so I felt the comparison was more forceful and obvious)

I need to know more about this new culture and what a typical day would look, feel and be like for an average person and family.

We know the world is not perfect...I can walk down my city high street and see numerous homeless people begging on the streets and we ignore (most not all) We know people around the world die because they have no food to eat or clean water to drink...while in other parts of the world people are dyeing because of over eating. The rich continue to get rich and the poor continue to get poor.....everyone is okay with money running their lives. we are not supposed to live to work...we work to live. We are so divided as people...age...sex...gender.. race.....religion....political view etc....we need to come together as people and make this world better. People who do not work on this crucial goal are a waste of space.. (in my view...which off course could be wrong)

The brilliance of Nikola Tesla was that he did actually do things seemingly out of whole-cloth, things way above what was easier to deduce from other work. That isn't even a disagreement with what is being said, in fact it reinforces that it's true and that many people understand it to some degree, which is why Tesla is said to be the greatest genius of all time.
@Joke9972
@Joke9972 7 жыл бұрын
'Intelligence' is the degree of differentiation with which you designate your observation, but whether you call it 'water' or 'h2o', you still have to drink it. Creativity is at least as important.Consciousness is involved in our degree of artificiality because it relates with our sense of motive within action/reaction, but it's only slightly deeper than that of animals, and by a long way off to turn our artificialism into a naturalism which doesn't extract and pollute.

Jacque your theory on us having only creativity from the things around us and not from within is not possible. What of the genius in small children who come to this lifetime and have level of creativitiy in piano at the age of 3…art at the age of 2, we have all seen this in some children, this is not of this world at all. His therory is limiting and seperates our ability to be one as he himself wished for in our future, our minds are connected to the greater…for where did we come from? that can never be answered on earth….we are limited only by our minds and that is the only place we need to stretch and challenge. I love his projection to live as one with no seperation in any culture for that is the energy's full experience after we leave the flesh. I love you Jacque however you speak as if you are to be an idol and speaking from a place of surety as this is limiting you and your magnificence.

Children are extremely adept at learning in the first 5 years. The genius 3 year old pianists are simply children who have played the piano a lot and have a love for it (whether its internal or perhaps forced upon them by over bearing parents). You will NEVER see a child touch a piano for the first time and blast out mozart. He doesnt claim to be all knowing either, he even told the class to "not go easy" on him in the q&a after.

Our problems are not language or social structure; merely that the individual is too focused on their own wants and needs (this is our built in instinct; that stifles survival of humanity's higher conscience).

This should be called creative problem solving. What you notice right away is that diversity is the strength of problem solving or creativity. However, too many of our businesses today hire only computer engineers or architects or one type of expert when they may have a better product if they hire people from different backgrounds. A lot of people are surprised to find that Steve Jobs who help found Apple Computers was not a computer or software engineer. His friend who began Apple Computers with him was the computer engineer. Bill Gates also had such a friend who helped him begin Microsoft. Even though both of them could develop software, his problem was different. Bill looked so young when they were beginning, he had to send his friend who looked older with a beard to present their product to potential clients. The Gore Company who makes Gortex fabric and other inventions has developed a leadership structure that is called flat lattice leadership style where employees work in groups that they develop and work in according to their interests.They also choose what groups they will lead. The groups are diverse. While it's not perfect, they are heading in the right directions. The people who lack diversity more than anyone else are dictators whether they be a politicians, leaders of a country or leaders of a business. Dictators have an authoritarian style of leaderships and cannot tolerate differences. They tend to surround themselves with "yes" men and women who tend to look like them, think like them and pledge total loyalty. This is why they make enormous and costly mistakes. For example, it was reported that Saddam Hussein did not know he was losing the second Gulf War until it was almost over because his yes men were too afraid to tell him. George Bush thought American troupes would be greeted as liberators and the second Gulf War would only last a matter of months. He believed after the war, Iraq's citizens would gladly develop a Democracy, and would be happy for the US to develop their country into an oil client state. He was surrounded by yes men, and if any military leadership disagreed with him, they were either fired or quit in protest. Had President Bush consulted any anthropologists or sociologists, and military leadership that disagreed with him, they would have gladly helped President Bush to understand why his thinking was totally wrong. This lack of diversity, has been and will continue to be extremely costly for everyone, until we stop this destructive pattern, and create a new one. If you notice, the winning side in Star Wars was the most diverse compared with the storm troopers who all had the same uniforms that only came in two colors.

Good point on diversity. however, I don't think we should just focus on diversity within groups, but also within ourselves. specialization was one of the catalysts for industrial revolution and it's a given on our age, but having diverse interests, knowledge and talents makes you more creative, more fun and honestly just a better person.

+Filip Valábik aha ok and so I guess or wonder if that perhaps was the year it first came out or was he ahead of his time?
@filip9717
@filip9717 8 жыл бұрын
he was almost always ahead of his time, that's why other engineers would make fun of him (in Douglas Aircraft Company in Dayton, Ohio, he was stationed there during WWII for ideas and invention, but refused to work on bombers and weapons, only safety devices, hundreds of them, but they own everything he thought of, that's why you don't see his name so often)....anyway he also got beaten up (physically) because they thought he was a communist.
