Yes, but followed immediately by Sam getting shouted down a 4th time, when Toby cuts him off.

At times I would shake my head and smile knowing just how much Toby HATED to be complimented. He definitely was not a Fan of others defending him or helping him! Leo knew this all too well and STILL went ahead and docked a lifeboat in Toby's Harbor! 😊 Sometimes the personal relationships hit home for me than the bigger "story" on any particular episode! Cheers To The West Wing Brigade! 👋

16th and Potomac was the Mrs landingham episide ??.. sad plus the flashbacks to Jed as a young man and she worked there at the school and looked out for and guided him. One flashback she says “because u don’t have a big sister and u need one” 😪 She knew all about his father and the story of how her sons were killed in Vietnam ☹️

That look on Toby's face when he sees Sam's reaction "Can I help you?!" at 0:48 and that little leg hop. All signs showing he's a little startled by Sam's very serious and unusual reaction.

Why do all of these clips cut right before the climax of Sorkin’s writing? The emotional import of these scenes is lost with these edits.

@@sinsgalore5146 that’s not the point. These edits are the equivalent of Parks and Recreation trying to sell their show and cutting right before Andy says “network connectivity issues.” These edits are all verbal crescendo with no climax. @@MusicWithoutwax I have seen many Park and Rec clips that included ''connectivity issues'' so not all cut it. If one clip misses one joke, there is a high chance another compilation/clip will have it. Anyway, these are short videos meaning they can't include everything and they don't owe it to you.

@@Kinitawowi Believe it was season one of Desperate Housewives, with Marcia Clark, Terri Hatcher, Eva Longoria and so on. There is some behind the scenes media or maybe its alternate audio commentary for season two, where Aaron Sorking tells the story of Mrs Landingham teling him that she booked Housewives , and don't quote me, but after she leaves Sorkin turns to someone "We just killed Mrs. Landingham..."or something like that. Sorkin KNEW the minute she was leaving what was going to happen to her character.

What drives me crazy about the MS story is that for twelve years, we had a president who had polio- a fatal disease back them- and he led us through a world wide depression, and a world war with two fronts. Why the American voters think someone with MS or someone who has lost a half step -but has an excellent cabinet and VP in place- can't run our country is beyond me.

@@catherinewilliams9680 Obviously not a very fatal disease back them (sic), at least in FDR’s case. And the American people who didn’t like Bartlett lying by omission about his Muscular Sclerosis didn’t necessarily want his Cabinet running the country without him, anymore than Tony liked the idea of a bunch of unelected bureaucrats running it because Bartlett didn’t sign a letter giving Hoynes provisional authority, or worse, Leo’s secretary Margaret running it because she had learned how to fake the President’s signature.
