Sorry everybody we let a little bit of our political conversation slip through and get published. the great thing about this country is everybody is allowed to have their own opinion. we will try not to let that happen again thanks for understanding Hope you enjoy the videos

Though I don't know why a magnesium float is better for bringing the cream to the top, and a metal trowel is better for smoothing the concrete, I can definitely see the difference in the video, so thank you for sharing close ups of the finishing process when you can. TOM, I noticed the sidewalk apron connecting the garage door pad, could you have flaired the left side of the form to match the cut to the exposed aggregate? Or do yinz have to follow the architect plans exactly how it's on the print?

Great question we actually looked at that and thought anymore of a flare on it it might just look a little too big

Curious as to why you apply the Surface Retarder on BEFORE you power-wash the top layer off of exposed agg? Wouldn't it be more effective to do so AFTER it's... well, exposed? Or does that just make it slicker once it's set?
@GunpowderandFreedom3 жыл бұрын
The surface retarder is the chemical that keeps the top from hardening. If you don’t put it on after the concrete is troweled, the top layer of concrete won’t come off. Thanks for watching!
@PhillBogart3 жыл бұрын
