How fresh does the dust look like if termites. Can you tell if it looks old? Fun fact Termites will go with the grain until the grain changes like if you have a stud going into a bottom or top plate.

Good job getting to word out to the youth (potential workforce) on concrete. Very curious on that epoxy project. Like you said it's so easy on the videos.

you had a skid steer that you could have used to pour that front porch but instead you risked that driver life, that truck had no business being up on that grade under those ground conditions. you showed absolutely no concern for that drivers safety. As a ready mix driver of 23yrs I always will work with my customers but not at the risk of getting stuck or worse a roll over.

I want to say the additive is Xylene. Also, placing the bucket of epoxy in a vacuum pot and pulling a vacuum will degas the resin. The Xylene breaks the surface tension and flashes off when the vacuum is pulled. Allow 50% extra room in the bucket because the epoxy will foam up as the vacuum is pulled. Release the vacuum slowly and the foam will collapse leaving a bucket of bubble free resin.

Thank you for the tip. I'm going to try that out.

Tom, I used to make a living working with resin. There is an additive you can use that effectively thins the resin so it allows the air bubbles to rise to the top and disappear. I'm sorry I forgot the name of the additive but it's pretty common. I believe there were tradeoffs like longer curing times and/or strengths. But I recall it was a minor cost for the benefit of getting all those air bubbles out of your final workpiece. I have a feeling you know about this but in the event you don't I thought I'd mention it here.

@@billbern1005 well what I'm thinking of wasn't Xylene but it was likely something very similar.

Tom: As the epoxy cures the surface may develop an amine blush. To find out more google: Amine Blush; What Is It & How To Prevent It. If you don’t remove it your sandpaper will gum up. I am guessing you plan on clear coating the door. Get a copy of The Gougeon Brothers on Boat Construction. Read about Flow Coating with epoxy using a notched trowel and a thin foam roller. While the book is about boat building, there is useful information to be had.

A video I saw on KZbin was about wireless earbuds. They took a geiger counter and held it to different objects that emitted radiation, then held it to a man's head that was using wireless earbuds. The geiger needle showed radiation. That same video stated how important it is to NOT hold your phone to your ear, definitely not touching the ear. The same man took out his wireless buds and put in a wired set of buds and the geiger counter showed nothing. They opened up the settings on a 5G phone and there is a warning on the phone saying to keep the phone at least 3 mm away from skin. There's been numerous studies on the 5G towers also that are not published to the public. I can't wait to see the finished door. Keep it warm. Let us know what you found making the noise on your truck. Thanks for sharing. ❤👍🙏

Hey Mr Haus a little advice? Convert your volume into weight and you can just weigh the material. You can also keep records of how much dye you've added etc etc. USG has a chart for that in regards to a product called dry stone casting media. Should be the same thing sorta but it's a starting point

Well, I watched this yesterday evening on my TV, and I got so excited w the entryway to Emily's house. That's gorgeous!! I love the color and the shine. Walking in, you'll be dazzeled by all the eye candy. It is now a million times better than the first saw it. Great taste, Emily. Also, oh yes, such excitement I had seeing the wood Lazer engraver. This is gonna be great. My mind is in high gear trying to figure out the first project!! I can't believe you're still having trouble w the door. Could the cold, dampness be affecting it? If I know anything at all, I know you'll figure it out. Lots of company repair work to do. I knew that, along w servicing everything. I always look forward for off season projects. We've even got new equipment to enhance the talent by a Lazer printer. The floating steps sure made that owners house shine. We just have to imagine the landscaping completed. Steve's house had really smart progress done to it w the waterproofing. The spray-on tar, then the blue board, we'll, not blue but Styrofoam board, and another French drain on top of the bottom one. That's impressive!! Father and son are giving us a lot of great videos. KZbin needs to give you both a raise!! Alright, now, keep the cameras charged up and on. Thanks, guys. I do so enjoy y'alls channels. Thank you, and bless you. Merry Christmas and happy new year. 👍❤️🙏🇺🇲🇺🇲
