Associate professor of organisational behaviour and human resources management, Maja Djikic is also the executive director of the Self-Development Laboratory and the academic director of the Rotman Executive Coaching Certificate program at the University of Toronto - Rotman School of Management.
In her 2024 book, ‘The Possible Self,’ Maja asks why career success does not necessarily bring whole-life fulfilment. She introduces a five-step transformational system called the Wheel of Change based on five parts of ourselves: Desires, Actions, Emotions, Thoughts, and Body. By understanding the mechanisms of these five integral parts, she asserts, we can escape the paradox of success-without-happiness and move towards self-fulfilment.
