This film presents the facts and effects of drinking alcohol, such as psychical and psychological effects while focusing on the dangers of driving while intoxicated. “Think About Drinking” is an Alfred Higgins Production, released and revised a couple of times. This version dates to 1973.

I believe the Sumerians were brewing beer before Egypt was making wine. There are cuneiform tablets giving instructions on how to do so.

Oh the old pull tab days, nothing like stepping on those, 1971 when the cop would say “do you think you can make it home?”, and a Hamms commercial with big bear riding around in a jeep with a burly mountain man, oh those were the days, lol

They missed the reason alcoholic beverages were popular in the middle ages: often safer than the water, and 'small beer' with a very low alcohol content was the de facto drink of the worker

Even in the 70's they were blaming us drunk drivers for the accidents caused by drunk crashers.

Again, calling it a disease. Tired of that term being used. No, its addiction. Dont insult people with cancer, Parkinson's, ALS, ETC.

Absolutely... it could be considered a mental disease, but having worked in the mental health field even that can be insulting, it's self inflicted. (and yes I drink)
