Time to buy a F550, and build the best of both worlds. More space than both of your current options. Also would go off road places you never thought was possible. Would make a epic build too.

Why don't some of you and your closest van friends buy a small piece of property together and have a permanent place to park? Build laundry mat, grow a garden, and flowers and film it all. We'd love to watch that. Could still take trips occasionally but have a homestead. Each could have their own area.

The price of land here is astronomical. Plus you would need to find land with the correct zoning for such an idea, and if you can find that for sale, its even higher cost than astronomical lol. It really is super pricey on the island :(

@@Makeitbymandy idk about where you’re at but where I’m at you can find that HOWEVER, the ones that are cheap have a lot of rock, which as anyone who’s built before knows Rocky soil costs extra to build on, so even if he did manage to buy that and got unlucky enough to have Rocky soil, that just jumped the cost up even more

Chrome, I have been with you since day one. My husband of fifty years had passed away the year prior. I wasn't interested in living. I just wanted to die too. Your videos were the first thing I was interested in. I could hardly wait to see the next one and I still can't. I'm so grateful to you Chrome. Believe me, I would be living in a van if I wasn't disabled. I have seen how hard you have worked for what you have. You deserve to live in whatever you want to. I am a very sentimental person. I love your old van but you have to follow your heart. Your fans will be here watching you no matter what you live in. New adventures, new memories. But one more thing Chrome, 50 is just a number. Don't live the rest of your life looking at the numbers. I'm in my 70's now and your body will change with time. It's good to see you preparing for that. You are a very smart man. Your soul is so beautiful. You help anyone in need that you can. Do whatever makes you happy. You deserve your time with Danica this Christmas. Enjoy her and hold her close. Merry Christmas to you and Cruzie, Danica, Emily, Amanda and all the rest..... Chrome I love you and so do many others ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤✌️✌️🎄🎄🎄🎁🚐🚑

You spent all those years getting out of debt. at 50 do you really want to go back, when Cocoa-Pops hit it was the year I retired, then found out I had Parkinson's I thought my life was over, I raced at a very high level for a living, no other job, all ways stuck in the lime light, then age hit & had trouble dealing with it, I thought all I have left is to sit on the couch & die. Then I found your channel, you changed my life, traded my gull wing BMW straight across for a 4X4 Van, lifted it, did a bunch of work & never looked back, anyways getting back to it, finish the Beast properly, stay in your van, until it's done, take it from someone over 60 don't go back into debt, you have the right people in your life to finish it the right way, but that's just me, it's your life, but I owe you a big Thank-you, you helped me save my life, gave me a new way of living, Van-Life & I never looked back, just remember if you take the plunge things can change, & then what, I hate to say it, we're not young, but you have to follow your heart, I know, I did my whole life, good or bad, but would not change a thing, Good Luck Buddy !

To fix the "dog dish issue", pull the tray back off, run a bead of silicone caulk around the outside edge of the bottom of the dog bowl holder, then place a sheet of clear plastic wrap down on the floor and out the tray on top of it to let the silicone cure. Once it's cured, pull the plastic wrap off and now you have a DIY seal to keep dirt and grime from getting under it. You could also use a thin piece of foam window insulation if you don't mind having that show.
