I am sure it was difficult for him to introduce himself to you. I am related to and friends with many police officers, deputies, firefighters, EMTs and Paramedics. The calls with children are the most difficult they say, but they suffer from PTSD from so much more that they experience. A close relative suffers from PTSD and it is difficult to watch. I always pray that God will take it away. Thank you for sharing. I can believe God had His hand in this. Maybe you can become close and seeing how God works in your lives and how God and your children keep you going will help them too. I hope this meeting makes new friends and brings much goodness to all your lives. River continues to touch hearts and lives from Heaven.

God bless you. It brings joy to my heart knowing you are preaching. God does gather and I believe He is coming soon to rapture His church. My father who passed 6 years ago was a preacher. He died of Alzheimer’s. Losing a child, losing a husband, or wife, parent is hard. I am uplifted seeing how you have trusted the Lord with this journey of grief. River will be waiting for you when you arrive in heaven. I believe the rapture is soon. I look forward to seeing both of my parents in heaven, but Jesus is the one I want to thank for carrying me through this journey in life. God is so good. Your son is beautiful and your whole family is beautiful! Without the Lord I wouldn’t be sitting here today. I’ve had two heart attacks and have blood clots in my lungs. I thank Jesus daily for being with me and never forsaking me. Rising up in the rapture is going to be the most exciting time. Being home with the Lord is going to be glorious. I’m so thankful Jesus went to heaven and built a place for us, and is caring for all our loved ones who are already there with Him. I’ll see you and your family at the marriage supper of the Lamb. God bless you and keep you safe until He arrives to take us home.

Wow! I love your story! I have been married to a FF/Medic/Cardiac ER RN for 38 years. I met my husband after I started working at his firehouse in the office. I was 19 years old. I have worked with first responders most of my life. My husband has seen way too many children who have drown or died tragicly. He has also delivered a lot of babies who were in a hurry to be born. My husband has struggled throughout his career after not being able to give a person a second chance at life here on earth. When we were dating, he rescued a 3 year old boy who was trapped in a burning car. He told me he felt like he didn't do the boy any favors bc he was burned so much. I told him that his job is to rescue. It is God's choice if he stays on earth or not. He visited the boy in the hospital. Of course, the boy wasn't conscious. Many years later, my husband told me he saw him in a department store and he was walking and talking. I remind my husband that he meets a lot of people on their worst day. All he can do is be kind, reduce their suffering, and pray for them. You are blessed to have met those officers. Maybe God was working through Mav. The officers did their best to save River. I assure you that they struggle with his loss. Maybe together God will help you and the officers heal. Please share more about this experience.
