I have a 2020 with 4,000 miles on it. It's an interesting bike in that it feels like it's completely wound out at 4k rpms, then you yank the throttle and it's like a turbo kicks in.

I don't have an issue with the sidestand, but what is going on with your boot? Is that held together with duct tape?
@davexs2 жыл бұрын
My boots have a plastic heel slider, which is slippery and round. No issues with my other boots. I scuff the boots on the road sometimes and the 'gaffa tape' helps keep the sole on....Old habit

@@davexs thx mate I ride the Mae Hong Son loop in 98’ when I was just a wee lad. Did you rent the Triumph in Thailand or you are living there? I’ll be coming over from Australia shortly and have been looking at renting a big bike. I’m the current owner of S1000XR and Ducatis . Cheers fella

@@Chris-vq5vr I live here in Hua Hin, Thailand. This is my own bike. It is possible to rent a bike. A big bike rental would probably be in Bangkok. I do know of one place here in Hua Hin that rents big bikes. Mae Hong Son loop is awesome...Cheers

@@davexs awesome stuff. Lovely bike & roads in Thailand. Motorcycle heaven. I was living in Indonesia for 12 years & that’s where I purchased my Ducatis. Indonesia taxes all new luxury bikes like Ducatis @ 125% of sales cost. I believe Thailand is the same?

Unrestrict it with TuneECU. Even sport mode is limited. Not as limited as Rain mode, but it still has restrictions there and it never delivers full power, even at wide open throttle.

Yes, this is on my list to do later. 1st service due now and ordering X-Pipe, plus YSS shocks....Cheers Squire

Leave it in sport-mode. You've been riding a long time. You know what you're doing. I always hug the left side of a left-hand corner. The amount of times they come round the corner on your side of the road. Your skirt? You got me wondering then. This bike would suit my riding style. I also acknowledge any helpful driver.

I tried it in rain mode for a couple of KM, definitely way softer throttle. I don't wear my skirt on the bike, only on the weekends...haha
@davexs2 жыл бұрын
I did use road mode in BKK yesterday and rain mode is equally as good in town. My Skirt is the skirt in the helmet under the chin, I was testing for wind noise on the audio....My other skirt is for weekends...555 You'll be back soon?
