Korda TV Carp Fishing

5 жыл бұрын

Danny Fairbrass and Team Korda are fishing for big carp, watch as they catch some beautiful fish including a huge 87lb common carp.
Using carp fishing rigs such as the IQD rig and the Combi rig the guys show you how to tie these rigs to ensure the perfect presentation in your own fishing.
In this Episode Danny Fairbrass, Neil Spooner and John Mann are joined by the Korda European sales team at the annual sales summit held at a lake called Trois Iles. A fantastic new venue located in the village of La Tombe, in the department 77 of France, next to Montereau-Fault-Yonne. Members of the team travelled from all over Europe including France, Germany, Belgium, Holland and Italy.
The guys mixed business with pleasure and used every free minute to pursue the massive fish the lake had to offer… including carp to over 80lb. Watch as they fish as effectively as they can and share the knowledge with you so you can approach any similar “pay lake” venue in your own fishing. These lakes get a lot of pressure all the way through the year and we show you just how Danny and the team tackle it, so you can do the same in your own fishing.
A big lake (75 acres) with a huge main island, the cool shape offers every type of fishing you could want from margins, right out to ultra long range. All of this is covered by the multitude of anglers featured in this Episode.

Hi mate just a bit of advice, keep your rigs simple and stick with what works. I have been fishing a long time and only use 2 rings mst of the time and a 3rd different rig if the lake I am on as bad weed. I use the kd rig 90% of the time and a stiff hinged or chod rig if fishing in weed.

Isn't really a Thinking Tackle episode is it... Casting 120/130 yards, there was no talk of the kit being used to achieve those distances, rods, reels, line etc. Would have liked to have seen some info' about boat use, considering it seemed to have been a focal point in at least 4/5 of the anglers session. Very brief insight into the rigs the guys were using, and then most of the film focused on the capture of the Common. Always an easy watch, but seemed the film was a bit of an after thought to try and force some content out.

There is a part 2 coming next month, with 12 decent anglers around the lake we can’t tell the whole story in 40 minutes. This is a unique chance to see new anglers for the first time, all of whom have knowledge and passion to share. We take your point re the long casting and will ensure more detail goes into future episodes but remember we are speaking to the whole of Europe and so each of our countrymen deserve some air time. Danny for one loved Johns story of success and copying his approach in similar circumstances will, we're sure get people more bites which is the whole point of TT. We pack as much info in as we possibly can and if you watch it again you will see how much is there already.

Video is good, but sacking the carp is a sad story, few weeks ago I was on a lake where people with team korda caps and shirts (Spanish guys) sacked 4 carp for multiple days, so all of them could be on one picture, they were kicked off the lake since sacking was not allowed.
@KordaTV
@KordaTV 5 жыл бұрын
Danny's stance/explanation on sacking is on a previous comment. As for Team Korda Spain sacking fish for days, firstly was it Team Korda or just people who have bought our clothing? Is not fair to blame our Spanish Team when you don’t know. We shall investigate of course and we deplore sacking fish for days to get a multi shot. Overnight in cold water is a totally different situation.

A nice simple story from Terry Hearn is 1000 times more exciting, interesting and engaging than any videos from the likes of korda, fox etc.... we customers dont care about a fancy picture edit or a catchy theme tune. We want to hear a story that gets us on the edge of our seat, wondering what lies ahead. This bored the pants off me and i skipped to the end.

There are loads of weird rules on the venue....Its as if they are blocking you to catch the fish....We have been a few times and almost all the other guys who we speak to on there say the same thing......Its 100% a venue where you need to be dropping your rig with a big boat as the fish are most of the time out of your casting range...They say you can only use the boat to bait up between 10am and 4pm which means you will struggle to get bait back out after 4pm if you have a bite......P.S They wont let you use the freezer space and then try and sell you frozen bottles of water for 2 euros a pop and you cant even drink the water after as its straight out of the tap which is a total con......Could be a nice place if it was run by different people

@@VALIS538 exactly mate very contradictory to say the least they should know better ..there is a lot impressionable young anglers who hang of every word that the so called pros say and to showing them that it is ok to retain fish over night is simply very very very bad advice and they should know better ...they must have a new line of retainer slings coming out or summet ..nothing would suprise me woth this lot anyway

Morning Matt, We understand your frustration, if the team at Korda thought we were putting the fish in danger we would not do this. The films are all shot one year before release so they come out at exactly the same time of year so viewers can emulate our tactics and so catch more carp the very next time they fish, that is the whole point of TT, to get anglers more bites. Sacking has been a part of carp fishing for 40 years or more and in such cold water there is virtually zero risk to the fish. Korda have championed the use of weigh slings to move fish from the water to stop net damage for many many years and we promote keeping the fish in the water for the whole photo session. If it were a dangerous practice none of the Korda team would do it.
@mattsmith6795
@mattsmith6795 5 жыл бұрын
I accept and understand your point about weather with more oxygen in cold water and totally agree, the colder months are the better time to sack. The issue is it's been constantly promoted and encouraging other anglers to sack over a large period of time through out the video. As a leading brand in the industry is that the image to set?
