@48:25. Not sure about setting up rigs to dump tiny bits of silicon tubing all over the lake. There's other ways of doing it, like leaving a long tag end on the mainline and folding it back into the clip. Gives same effect, if it's been pulled out you've been done, if you real back in and tag ends still looped into the clip you've not been done

Have to agree with this but this is also one of the reasons i dont use drop-off weights, i can only imagine how many weights litter the lake beds, inline weights is my preferred choice.

I love Danny, Korda and Team, but i would also say that the old series i liked more, when it was all about rigs, bait, bivvies, landing nets, luggage, etc. Even if it is limited to Korda, Tracker, Daiwa, Mainline, still was load of fun to watch and keep track of trends and products. Just watching guys landing fish is not that exciting, nor informative/educational... Nevertheless, thank you Korda for everything you do and keep it on.
@bwana47115 жыл бұрын
Grey Knight I agree but Korda can’t win. Got stick when they focussed on products more and now you’ve got people in the chat saying it’s boring and just fish in a barrel stuff. I’m with you though, I did enjoy seeing the Tracker, Mainline etc products alongside the Korda tackle. Enjoyed this one too though.

@DunkinBiscuits5 жыл бұрын
It depends on how you look at it and preferences really. Something like 5000 carp it's unlikely that each one is caught often and you could quite easily fish here for years and never catch the same one. OK so they will have all been caught before by others and you may also very well end up catching the same fish twice but you could also fish here for 10 years and never catch the biggest fish. Some anglers enjoy catching wild fish that have a good chance of never being caught before and I can completely understand how this would be special to them but other anglers also enjoy fishing for particular named target fish as their hobby. Some anglers are hooked on trying to beat their personal best and catch monster carp which you just cannot catch in the wild so as I pointed out it really is down to preference, for many if you manage to catch one of the rly big monsters then to them it is very special indeed and considered a once in a lifetime achievement. Its only special or less special in the eyes of the beholder

Why do you add swing back on a spod,and how do you know when it add it too your wraps ??
@danfletch73515 жыл бұрын
As a general rule of thumb take off a foot from your spomb for every 4 foot of depth
@bwana47115 жыл бұрын
You add it because your spod hits the water and releases the bait at that point whereas your lead would hit the water at the same point but like a pendulum it will swing back towards you while sinking to the bottom. If you don’t adjust your spod will hit the water at the same distance as your lead is clipped but the bait will fall straight down the water column and land a few feet past your rig.

Thumbs up from me but it does seem basically like a specie commercial for extra large carp . I bet the match fishing lads would have smashed the granny out it !!! Should have had Steve Ringer fishing it for you for Guru instead !!! Great for bites and a bit of a social im sure , but come on lads . How can you take any of them fish as a PB ???
@DunkinBiscuits5 жыл бұрын
A pb is a pb which ever way you look at it, some may never have fished a wild water before but that doesn't mean they have never caught their personal best? You can seperate your pb's as well like have a wild pb, a commercial pb or a European pb. People see achievements from different perspectives, for many chasing the lake record can take years and years and you may still never achieve it but for those who do they would almost definitely call it their pb if it took them years to achieve
@elwooddestiny11blues205 жыл бұрын
@@DunkinBiscuits Come on mate . Lets not get all high and mighty about it !!! I was having a laugh and pointing out how easy it was . Maybe we should all grow a 60lber in the bath and fish for it !!!
@DunkinBiscuits5 жыл бұрын
@@elwooddestiny11blues20 I wasn't trying to be high and mighty and if I came across that way it was unintentional, I was just trying to point out that it can still be a very passionate hobby for some and can still be very challenging, they are two completely different things really, wild fishing is more like hunting in ways whereas stocked fishing is a man provided sport, both are fun for many, match fishing is way to easy I admit but specimen stocked lakes are generally very hard to fish I've known people to camp for 5 days and not catch a thing.
@elwooddestiny11blues205 жыл бұрын
@@DunkinBiscuits I agree with what your saying mate but when 60lbers on a european lake a jumping into everyones net every 2 minutes its hardly something to be proud of really (in my view and i do understand others will view it differently) . I once fished a lake called Aarons Lake/Entire Farm and it was like carp soup . I could have run across the lake on the carps backs there was so many of them in there . When i was netting the carp i had hooked , i was scooping my net under the fish to find 2 fish in my landing net and that happened nearly every other fish . Half the fish had no lips and the ones that did still had deformed mouths from damage . That place and places like it should be shut down . Its cruelty to animals as far as i am concerned . I caught 70 carp in an hour or 2 that day and i give up counting after that . I got so bored i started chucking out hooks without any bait on to see and still was catching them all hooked in the mouth . They were like starving drones that would eat anything . I started feeding them by hand . After nearly 3 hours i chucked all my bait in for them and left the place and will never go back or fish a place like it . If i would have caught a 70lber from Aarons Lake/Entire Farm that day i wouldnt even have bothered weighing it . Im not saying the place Korda fished is exactly the same and like i said i was just having a laugh with a bit of banter . But come on !!! That place was too easy . I expect better from korda to be honest . Its carp specie fishing , not feed and catch my big hungry pet carp from my giant pond !!! And yes mate , i know not everyone has the time to sit over motionless rods and put in a bit of work for there rewards and just want to go and have a few bites with some big girls chucked in . It is their free time after all . But european carp get bigger than ours and it wont take long (probably got them already) for big specie sized carp , in match style numbers living in big european lakes where you have 30-60lbers jumping in you landing net with no effort what so ever . Tourism at its finest .
@DunkinBiscuits5 жыл бұрын
@@elwooddestiny11blues20 firstly love your name dude lol blues brothers is an epic film. I have also fished a place like the one you described and I stopped counting at 50 carp it was ridiculous, also like yours all their mouths were deformed and it wasn't nice to fish there. I only fish specimen lakes now and I regularly blank a whole weekend it rly isn't as easy as these videos make out but having said that I agree that the lake in this video looks far easier than any specimen I've fished, not a guaranteed catch lake tho as Danny swapped his swim with someone who hadn't caught all week yet to give them a chance too. These guys do make it look easier than it is and one reason is because they are sponsored, they have unlimited bait at no cost and so can afford to chuck kilos and kilos in which is kinda cheating in my eyes too as they have the advantage ovet all other anglers. Thanks for the mature response it's quite rare on KZbin lol.
