With the advent of the worldwide web, and before it, a plethora of weekly angling newspapers/magazines, the common consensus is, that angling has lost some of its mystery. To some degree, it may have; lots of fish out there have names these days and it’s hard to find somewhere with a bit more of an air of uncertainty about it.
However, if you look hard enough, there are a few places that although might have a few known fish, still have an unknown element to them. This type of venue is what Si Bater subscribes to; tucked away from the rat race, catching carp on his own terms. In his chapter, we follow him on a venue that’s highly susceptible to floods, and each time it does so, the stock changes!

Brilliant optimism. I think you are right. I am not a carp fisherman, but the process of creating fisheries with carp fishers will be great. I fish mostly on the fly, but that is rivers. Lakes in the south are for coarse

Si great video ,,, one thing what happened to that missing front tooth,, do what i did a few years back go to the Dentist get them all taken out and get a full set of dentures best thing i ever did i take them out at pop them into a jar with Steredant tablets no more brushing which isn't good for the gums .tight lines .. and happy confident smiles.
