i recommend you watch the youtuber "SpawnPoiint", all his videos are filmed with just an iPhone. He has a video that talks about his process how he filmed, plan and edit his videos. It is doable even with another smartphone. I don't know him but am a fan of his videos. Oh and "Andy To" has a lot of videos that were also filmed with just and iPhone that were edited to rival DSLRs or mirrorless cameras.

I have zero video experience and try to soak up as much as possible from your tutorials. All my footage so far is with a 10-year-old camcorder with everything set on auto. I bought mine for making KZbin videos, and for teaching online. It's also to replace my webcam, which has a weird fault. It flickers and changes colour periodically. The other reason is just to have a decent camera. My phone's camera isn't great. I want to take good photos, and being able to change lenses is very handy.

Thanks for this video. I got the ZVE10 just when production was halted to upgrade from a smartphone. I was shocked at the learning curve for the settings on this “beginner” camera and have watched a ton of vids like this to get me straight. Even after adjusting the settings mentioned I was still having problems with colors, and ultimately found it was on a random picture profile. I will be sticking to none/off on the picture profile for a while, but checking this setting is also pretty important for a beginner!

Hey, Omar! Thanks for making this video. I have a SanDisk Ultra 100mb/s 128GB SDXC card, but I'm getting this error when I put my camera in Movie Mode: "Cannot Record in this recording setting. Either switch to a UHS I U3 / UHS II U3 compatible memory card or change the record setting." My record settings are 24p 100M. Do you have any advice on this issue?

ISO is the sensitivity of the camera to light. Higher ISO, more light sensitive. And you see the button that says menu on the top right of the screen, that’s the menu button

Great video and Stella content.. except, following along with my ZV-e10 and regarding the eye focus at 5.05 I get a message saying that ‘This operation or setting is not available as follows: XAVC S 4K and it won’t allow me to turn eye tracking on. great video. If you have the manual mode set the shutter speed to 1/100 and fstop to the lowest with 100 Iso and you see the video very dark. Would you increase iso or change fstop or the iso?

Great tutorial! I just got hold of a used zv-e10 and in my Record Setting I only have 24p for 4k video the 30p is simply not there! How do I get the 30p? Is there different variant within the zv-e10 so I might have an old one with 24 fps only? Brg

You can go into the setting 5th panel (page 2 on the one that looks like a tool bax) and set it to NTSC. That will fix that little issue. When you do that, make sure you already have all of your movies and pics off of the camera, it will either wipe them or won't be able to play them.

Fantastic video, incredibly valuable content! One suggestion I would have is to consider moderating your pace a little. A majority of the viewers are likely to be beginners, and it can be quite challenging for them to keep up with the rapid movement through the settings and identify the buttons being pressed.

I bough the zv-e10 to get a wider angle when shooting girls for my only fans. It's been difficult the last couple month shooting with the ZV-F1 so I upgraded. It so super important to be able to get the girls feet in the frame at the same time as their heads while in any position. It is just tough when operating the camera while thrusting to a professional degree :) This was a very helpful video :) Thank you kindly :)
