I love listening to how you say the X1 Carbon's marketed toward the high-end executive. Your voice has a slightly childish tone to it, like you're still in grade school and talking about the opposing team's flashy new uniforms. It's funny and appropriate and helps me put into perspective just how dumb it is to get the best ThinkPad if I'm being pragmatic with money and functionality.

Good video. I like the focus on durability and bringing the old x series into the discussion. Still looking for a replacement to my x230 but don't like sealed battery, and how thin and dainty everything is now. Have an X1 carbon for work and am unimpressed by it. It's too apple; all show no go. x230 is a better design, just old now.

For my x230 I went with a battery from kingsener and I've personally had pretty good luck with it, but I've heard others having issues with theirs.

Yea. The X13 makes sense being thin since its for Uni students who also want a tablet. But that being said, im gonna hack this shit apart and make it outta titanium.

You give fantastic advice and wisdom and perspective, especially a very brief summary of business laptops and their value. I don't usually subscribe, but just to show my support for now, I... have now subscribed! I hope you get many many views and subscribers. The old, established channels have lost their charm. Up with the new KZbinrs!

This might be a bit off topic. But what happened to the British man who narrated your earlier videos? His voice was badass.

It was an AI voice by Elevenlabs, as cools as the voice is, it's not me, and I need to practice my charisma and speaking skills anyways.

@@Duraputer Your natural voice is much better anyway

@@Duraputer Good for you, man. I usually hate AI voices and find it disrespectful to use them instead of human ones because they're fake, don't do the job well, and show a lack of effort. Your voice really is much much better than any AI voice I can remember hearing.

Great Video! Quick Question: I’m thinking about buying the X13 Gen5, how’s the battery life? How long does it last when doing browsing/easy tasks?
@Duraputer7 ай бұрын
I've seen people say 7-8 hours on ones with an Intel processor. The x13 slim can get much better battery life, but struggling with emulating x86 programs.

@@Duraputer there is a X13 slim? I didnt see it anywhere
@Duraputer6 ай бұрын
@@azizinanc also called x13s. It seems like they are out of stock on the Lenovo website, but I saw a used one on eBay. Personally I would wait for getting something with that processor because there's not great software support for Windows or linux since it's not x86. It works with windows but some applications have issues form what I've heard. Although it would probably be fine for basic tasks, and battery life is incredible.

Also in order to be called “Ultrabook” it does need to have an Intel Processor

I really like the finish on the x13 you have. Is that a x13 gen1?
