Actually some methods are just not working, the most effective way is to create the bootable disk and repair with Ao mei disk tool.

I am a user of Ao mei partition assistant and I can tell this issue is easy to solve by repairing the MBR.

Do you happen to have a tutorial video on that because I have the same program and I select repair the MBR but it just doesn't do it apparently I swapped my SSD with my windows on it from my desktop to my laptop to do that and in the explorer it says NTFS but I cannot access it and I went through the properties and security settings and try to fix that with that option to assign administrator privileges and it still wouldn't work

This youtube video has errors. Below are the correct instructions. Do not run the "bootsect" command (e.g. "bootsect /nt60 sys" or "bootsect /nt60 ALL"). The "bootrec /fixboot" command can no longer be used for boot repair, because the command always shows "Access is denied". Microsoft has prevented the use of the "bootrec /fixboot" command on both GPT and MBR disks. Windows 10 version 1703 (April 5, 2017) and earlier installation media. - bootrec /fixboot -> "The operation completed successfully" Windows 11 and Windows 10 version 1709 (October 17, 2017) and newer installation media. - bootrec /fixboot -> "Access is denied" ============================== You don't need the "bootrec /fixboot" and "bootrec /rebuildbcd" commands if you use the BCDBOOT command. If the system partition has been corrupted, you can use BCDBOOT to recreate the system partition files. BCDBOOT copies the boot files from the Windows partition to the system partition and creates the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) store in the same partition. On a GPT disk, BCDBOOT copies the boot files to the EFI system partition. On an MBR disk, BCDBOOT copies the boot files to the active partition on the primary disk (either an active System Reserved partition or an active Windows partition). ============================== Tutorial: How to use the BCDBOOT command on a GPT disk. - Windows 10/11 is installed in UEFI/GPT mode. - Unlike an MBR disk, a GPT disk does not have an active partition. - The EFI system partition has a FAT32 file system. - The EFI system partition and the Windows partition are not always on the same disk. - The EFI system partition does not have a volume letter assigned by default, but you can temporarily assign a letter using diskpart. BCDBOOT [/s [/f ]] You can skip the format command if you don't want to format the EFI system partition. diskpart list volume select volume # (where # is the number of the EFI system partition) format quick fs=fat32 (you can skip this command) assign letter=z list volume exit bcdboot x:\windows /s z: /f uefi - replace "x" with the volume letter of the Windows partition - z: is your EFI system partition you assigned above BCDBOOT copies the boot files from the Windows partition to the EFI system partition and creates the Boot Configuration Data (BCD) store in the same partition. ==============================

Several concerns with this demo, this is why you have gotten neutral comments: 1) You've assigned the wrong drive to letter V:, intended for the EFI partition. The EFI partition is always FAT32, and from your "list vol", it is volume 3, not 2 as you have selected in the video. You must have your EFI replicated on your recovery partition and passed that off as EFI in your demo.. 2) The "bcdboot c:\windows" command: Your Windows drive is showing up as "C:" in the recovery environment, but that may not be the case for the user. If their Windows partition is not the 2nd partition on their disk 0, it may be assigned a different letter in the recovery environment, in which case this command will fail. Also "/l en-us" is not necessary, and in fact may cause a problem for non-US folks. 3) Ren c:\boot?? Your Windows drive is showing up as "C:" in the recovery environment, so this implies there is a c:\boot folder: NOT 4) Typing "Exit" goes where? What is this other console window you are showing? And why would it have different drive letter assignments? Huh? Typing exit goes back to the graphic repair menu. There are not two consoles generated with your prescribed procedure. The second demo shows this and conflicts with the first. 5) If access is denied, typing "bootsec /nt60 sys" can still result in access denied reply on the console on the EFI partition. You must tell the user this is a false response, that that command actually will work, but it won't be evident until you restart. 5) If one has to md \efi\microsoft\boot, there is far more damage to EFI than the video supposes, aka no "boot" folder. 6) It is not necessary to "list disk", that step does nothing
