Actually some methods are just not working, the most effective way is to create the bootable disk and repair with Ao mei disk tool.

If there's occurs any problem while copying the boot file. Then, after boot from USB flash drive, Press Shift+F10 combination to open cmd as admin. Then type the command - bootsect/nt60 sys Then you should see the message. - Successfully updated FAT32 or NTFS filesystem bootcode. And - Bootcode was successfully updated on all targeted volumes. Then type all necessary commands that we showed up on this video. Hopefully your problem will be solved. And New update coming soon, for BIOS-based (Legacy) computer.

Thanks very much. Great video and It fixed my problem. I am on Windows 10, x64, 1803. Suggest you emphasize the selection of the EFI partition and how to correctly identify it. Also, suggest you emphasize that when you type the last command, you must have identified the drive letter for your windows installation. It may not be C:\Windows like in the video. In my case the correct drive was E, so the correct command for me was bcdboot e:\windows /s v: /f UEFI. Also suggest you zoom in on your screen as many people are trying to fix their computer by watching your video on a phone screen. Anyway thanks heaps.

Buenas esta es la falla que se generaba en mi laptop: 1era falla: windows 10 error 0xc0000098 bcd. 2da falla: fixboot acceso denegado (en simbolo de sistema). nota: seguir los pasos del video ya que solo indico alguno cambios con respecto a mi laptop. 8:25 sel disk 0 (el disco con mas capacidad en GB es donde tengo instalado el SO). 8:50 sel vol 5 en mi caso (SYSTEM_DRV, FAT32, OCULTO). 9:55 (salte esta linea de comando) format... 10:23 bcdboot C:\windows /s v: /f UEFI (creo que esta fue la linea que me soluciono la falla de mi laptop). Thank you for your great video. I tried everything I could find and nothing worked for me, except for cleaning the drive and reinstalling Windows. I would like to solve the mystery. Here are details: after a power outage, pc will not boot from ssd - I think the error message is "inaccesible boot device". I researched and tried many things to get system to boot from SSD drive, no luck. Things just got worse. I made a disk image backup of the SSD using Reflect V7 rescue media - the SSD had MBR partitioning. Booted from a Windows PE 1803 CD in UEFI mode. Using DISKPART, I cleaned the SSD, and converted it to GPT. I successfully installed Windows 10 1803 to the SSD, and booted to Windows 10 1803 form the SSD. Using Macrium Reflect V7 Rescue Media, I did a restore as follows: I removed the new Windows partition from the SSD, leaving the new Recovery partition and EFI partition on the disk. Where the new Windows partition was, I dragged the Windows partition from the SSD restore image to the location where I just deleted the new Windows partition. On booting, Windows immediately went into Automatic Repair, and failed; then I went into the Windows Recovery Environment, and went into Troubleshooting. Tried a Startup Repair, failed. Went to the Command Prompt. ran BOOTREC /FIXMBR - success. ran BOOTREC /FIXBOOT - "Access id Denied". Booted to Macrium Rescue Media, ran Fix Boot Problems. A new BCD was written. Restarted PC. I get back to the "Access is Denied" when I tried to BOOTREC /FIXBOOT. Following KZbin instructions, I boot from Windows recovery media made with an older version of Windows 10 - Version 14393, Build 1607. ran BOOTREC /FIXMBR - success. ran BOOTREC /FIXBOOT - success. ran BOOTREC /REBUILDBCD - finds "0 Windows Installations" ran BCDEDIT - exported BCD to a backup file, then renamed BCD. ran DISKPART - assigned drive letter V: to the FAT32 EFI system partition volume. ran BCDBOOT c:\windows /l en-us /s v: /f UEFI ran BOOTREC /REBUILDBCD - finds "0 Windows Installations". I tried many other "boot repair" options, none worked. Again I gave up, cleaned the SSD, successfully installed and booted Windows 10 1803 on the SSD. I would very much like to understand why I can't boot to the restored partition and fix it.

If your PC has only one operating system, then no need to worried about it, it will directly take you to only one OS, that you have.

At first tell me, What is your installed Operating system's BIOS mode - Legacy or UEFI? Did you check every command line properly ? Did you successfully assigned the drive letter? And did you check this ((bcdboot space c:\windows space /s space your assigned drive letter: space /f space UEFI or BIOS or ALL)) command line ?

How many disks are there on your PC? two or one ?

At first, select the disk number, where your OS was install. Next, If you cannot detect your system drive, then type the command "cd space /d space (your drive later) :" and then hit enter. Next type the command "dir" and then hit enter. In this way check one by one, then you will definitely found your system drive, once you found, then type "exit" and then hit enter. Then type all necessary commands that we showed up on this video. Hopefully your problem will be solved.
