I just fitted the old electric under floor electric fan heaters from my kitchen into my shed, this is the first time ever that I have been able to work in my shed (workshop) during winter in 30 years, its toasty in there now, Im thinking of getting some solar panels and batteries to run it as electricity costs an arm and a leg these days. I smiled when you used your compass, when I was in school in the early '80s my technical drawing teacher once told me "that tool is not a compass it is a divider boy" he was wrong and right at the same time!

I really enjoy that your various builds and the challenges they present make for different and thoughtful solutions each time. It's not so much that I'm watching you build an instrument, I'm watching you think about how you're going to build THIS instrument. Love it!

Really enjoy the template making. I have severe patience problems when I do this stage myself as I always never see it as making progress. I must try harder....

Will your overall routing depth allow for a belly cut, or will you have to route more shallow in that area? - Paul

Oh wait: Thinline = no belly carve, right?

each to their own, i personally do not like Fender basses, especially P basses, they are everywhere, everyone does them, they are like a nasty rash. why not take the shape and then adapt it into something more unique, although i do like the idea of a thinline with some style of f holes (do they have to be f shaped?) it will still be a P bass. do something different... please
