Peace Corps Volunteers in Ghana demonstrate how to thin and prune a cashew grove. Thinning is the process of cutting out low producing trees from a grove. The word “pruning” is used over and over in this video, but be aware that the technique is actually called “thinning”. Pruning refers to cutting off branches to individual trees.
