Whew I know it's been a minute.
I wanted to drop in and show you all the progress my locs have made at month 15. There are still some of the same issues I've been working through for a while but, overall, the good is outweighing the bad. Definitely would love to see your thought in the comments and any insight from people around this same stage would be lovely. Thanks for tuning into my 15 month microloc update!

Hi beautiful! That thinning looks very familiar. Mine turned out to be hormonal due to thyroid. If you can, see if you can connect with an endocrinologist and see what tests they might want to run.

Beautiful as always! Mmm I’d definitely recommend sticking to a retightening schedule for the thinning problem 😭 and I agree with Dione Howell when they said to retighten the edges a little more frequently since they’re the weakest and need the most consistency. Also…that song at the end? I need the link girl 😍

Your locs are lovely and growing so beautifully overall! I have a similar experience with thinning hair in the same area that you showed and also in my crown area. I've been using Elaine Essentials Natural Hair Oil which contains castor oil and 7 other oils including peppermint oil. After several months of use I can see some thickening and lengthening in my thin areas. I have also noticed less dryness and dandruff on my scalp. I love it!!

Your hair is progressing nicely, think you have the right things in place. I use castor oil not the Jamaican just regular one & by doing a soft retie of edges more frequently than the rest as the hairs here are notoriously shorter & more prone to breakage with or without locs. I overcome my shortness on 2 locs by gathering my sons hair & extended them by crocheting a few inches they’ve held up pretty well. Your fullness looks NIZZZZZZE, keep it up👌🏾🇬🇧.

Thank you so much Dione, this was super helpful. I’ve noticed my edges are the first to start struggling between reties so I’m definitely gonna try that out. ☺️

@@MeccahMedia let us know how you get on in your next video. If you don’t want to retie so often crotchet or wrap the loose hairs into their respective locs. Good luck 😉 🇬🇧
