Great episode Izzy. Now with the ports in all the river you gonna get a lot of money, perfect to keep those big armys in the field. Also, a little tip for using you infatry better. So, you have 3 types of infantry: Pushers, flankers and holders. The pushers are every type of infantry that can put a Shield Wall (The spearman are the best for this), the flankers are every two handed infantry or infantry without shield and the holders are the infantry that use Spear Wall. The rol of the pushers is to hold the line and push back the enemy using the shield wall (You command the unit to go forward in Shield Wall and when they are avansign you order them to attack). The sword guys can do this, but if better if they have another unit supporthing them. You spear guys dies because you send them without a formation and they get reck in close combat. The rol of the flankers are to charge in the back o in the flank of the unit, using Hammer and Anvil tactics, because they will not resist a longer fight. They can be armor piersing, like the Privathier Axemen, but every unit that can move faster can be a flanker (The Dale Swordman can also do this rol). And finally, the rol of the holders is, ironically, to hold the line. Pikes and Halberdies are the best for this. In your case, you have a especial case with the Billman, they can hold the line and have armor piersing, but also a good charge, so the better way to use them is to move to the back of the enemy, charge in formation and put them in Spear Wall. They will destroy heavy infatry like Rhun and Uruks of Dol'Guldur and Mordor. The pikes are better to hold lines in general, because of is armor and the range of the weapon, but are weak if they get hit in the back. Sorry about the large text x'D

Good episode, lad! A good business to get rid of the Mirkwood settlements so you can focus on the golden boys. However the general in Vidugavia's rest is eager to march south east to kill some dirty orcs. He's a proven commander and gets bored resting there

It would be nice to see Romendacil take to the field against Rhun. Your Northern army looked pretty thin in the infantry. Don't get me wrong, Dale is an archer faction and arrow is the king of the battlefield for them, but they still need some good, defensive infantry to hold the line. Taking Caras Sant and using it as a forward staging post works. I just worry that Dorwinion might fall any moment and expose your flank, since Rhun is is southern Rhovanion as well. If you can bring another army to raid Mistrand while you keep pushing to Strondost and Lest, it might work. But Rhun has resources as well, and you will suffer losses when you go against them. Remember, bridge battles are your friend, and there are plenty of bridges around the Sea of Rhun.
