This is why 77 is my favorite #. It’s when I went to the South, saw Star Wars, and albums like this were being made. 1977 isn’t a year, it is a place.

Arguably more difficult in very basic human areas of survival however the kinetics of our current paradigm are not so much worse perhaps more layered and therefore we need to become more creative to survive and be gratefully content and celebrate joyous everlasting life. HU

Need to look harder, then. You can find some wild things if you click on the weirdest album art in your recommendations. Muito Kaballa Power Ensemble - Mamari (2021) was directly recommended off this video, even.

A cup of strong coffee, a post-breakfast Camel filter, the gentle birdsong filtering through the window in rural France, and this...! The world ain't such a bad place. .Many thanks for the upload.

Sounds exactly like my morning, except the rural France bit. Glad you're tuned in!

That is so evocative and I think the music could also suit a lazy morning in the city, for example here in London... Sound of trains casually clattering past....slice of toast....people coming and going for various reasons....

I don't know *anything* about jazz. Does this get classed as jazz-funk? Fusion? Whatever it is.....I like it!
@wtflacАй бұрын
Yeah this is a weird one. You're right though, with jazz-funk and fusion. If you'd like to dig deeper I would also class this in the realm of fusion; modal, spiritual, bop. There's proggy bits, there's groovy bits, it's got Latin and African influences all the while - stratospheric abstraction.
