@@Hitcon7 i think its cool, creates more uniqueness in the way different characters approach the sucession war, for zhang, its more important to have a estabilished idea of a kingdom and way to control and lead it than strenght, that might be something that gives him an edge later

Sunk Cost Fallacy: The Nen Ability. Imagine all the people in positions of power, just holding onto these coins like favors that Zhang Lei will eventually cash in. If someone committed half a decade to this investment, they'd be unflinchingly loyal AND powerful to boot. Like a long game version of The Stand Arrow from Jojo.

Since this arc is all about Post-Mortem Nen, there's also the possibility of whatever could happen with these coins if/when Zhang Lei dies. I don't know if they'd vanish since he's always thinking ahead. Perhaps the coin's value's actually representative of, say, the years they're taking from the holders to give to Zhang Lei so he can be resurrected (if you're holding a coin worth 1, you're losing 1 year, a coin worth 10 is 10 years, and so on). Going by that logic, if Zhang Lei's holding a coin when he dies, then maybe he's subtracting from this overall sum to bring himself back, and no matter the case he must start all over with the coins after this. What I mean is the coins may grant abilities if Zhang Lei's around, but it could very well be the opposite if that's no longer the case.

I wonder if one of the abilites is to take out a loan. Essentially cash in a benefit earlier than normal but in exchange for a nasty downside or some form of interest. It would fit with the money theme and the nen beast isn't under his control so if he plays too fast and loose with the rules he might actually get into trouble.

Dude. It just occurred to me. Tengen as a spirit fetus thing a ma bob is given to Sukuna. Who is then defeated. The fetus rocket is then transferred back to a temple to maintain the barrier which is fading over time, right? Does this mean we have seen the last of the 6 eyes/infinity users? No more star plasma vessel? As I was rereading I was asking myself: “Was Gojo the last since his birth as the chosen one is tied to the vessel?”

The value is probably relative like real money. Probably based on how many coins there are in circulation and how much others want the coin. Also if he can only create 1 coin per day it would still take a while to give a entire country nen abilities

I don’t know where to donate but I need you take on this please! Did chrollo seal the phantom troupes fate? I’ll try to keep it as brief and simple as possible, when chrollo read the troupes fortunes and they got the death flags he eventually came to the conclusion that “ the time frame had passed “ so there was no longer a reason to be worried. But then 2 members died years after the fortunes were supposed to come through. Around this time we were reintroduced to postmortem nen and also found out that neon died later down the line. You could say that for what neons ability was that it was keeping her family in the top standing but that power was unwilling taken away from her. I think that because chrollo took the power and the troupes fortunes were the last ones read with the ability.. maybe neon had some form of postmortem nen on the ability which lead to the fortunes not only to be removed from any sort of time limit as we know that the original fortune was only supposed to last for a month or so but we seen shalnark and kortopi die 2-3 YEARS after the fortunes were read. And also the fact that these are no longer fortunes but events that were sadly set in stone when chrollo inadvertently had a hand in neons death and used the stolen ability on the troupe of all people last. Please tell me where I can donate and fine me your thoughts pleaseeeee!!!

I don't think this prince, should he lose the succession war, will be thrown out of the storyline without consequences. My idea is that coins bind owners to Zhang-Lei as if they were in a commercial or political partnership: if the head falls, so does the body.
