I work in a bookstore so I come many great books and I pick ones for my reading which I find interesting. " Passion of the western mind " , this book I came across a few years ago and found it very fascinating. Though I haven't yet managed to read that. Also the other book " cosmos and psyche " is available at our bookstore and I'm aware of that. It delighted me greatly when I saw the author of this book on the podcast here. The descent to the Dark Age started with Aristotle when, in contrast to Plato, focused on the external being primary to reality instead of the internal; consciousness and mind, being primary, and the relation to the Cosmos was also lost. It was the beginning of the study of the environment, of material science, but it resulted in the loss of the foundations of reality.
