I never thought I was supposed to "get" anything out of Mass. I thought it was for worship. Something I owed. I only get to attend Mass from my bed, and attend every day. I owe God everything. He owes me nothing, yet He died for me. Thank you, Father, for reminding me by telling us about your mother.

When I go to Mass online, TV is also an option, I actually stand up or sit down and pray with you, too. It might be close to time for my next pacemaker, because yesterday, my legs started turning blue, around my hip area. God thank you for my relatives who let me read about medicine. When I was 9 years old, my stepdad mom and I studied their medical books together. I believe that being in Ticket to Work is playing a pivotal role in my life at this time, because everyday that I wake up is another day to try to be God's daughter and a blessing in someone's life. God bless you Father Mike and the Front Pew Crew. I Love. My favorite part of the homily is where you say "do this out of Love..." ❤❤❤

@@davidprivatera9291 Uncle, peace be with you. ✝️ Prayer is talking to God. Some do it so eloquently & doing it "correctly" might seem intimidating to us but surely our loving Father appreciates, welcomes & even instructs us to be simply sincere? Those with the gift of eloquence, be eloquent. Those possessing simplicity, be simple, etc. As long as you're sincere. If you're angry, happy, forlorn, confused, joyful... be truthful in His presence & let Him work wonders with that. Also, use the gift of The Lord's Prayer. When all else fails, be silently present & let the Holy Spirit, your Advocate, appeal on your behalf. May you be surrounded by loved ones in your last days & may God bless you with a peaceful journey Home.🙏❤️

Every one of our acts of sacrificial love are living sacrifices to our Lord, as they image the Son! These are made in real time during the week, but could be considered as love offerings carried forward by the angels during the mass!

@MrDarshD23 күн бұрын
Such an important message. Loved the reference to The Schindler's List movie. The entire movie is awesome, but yes, the last scene is very moving.. "I wish I had done more!".. Whoever saves one life, saves the world in entirely. Love your neighbour as yourself- not only means literally but humans as a whole. Help fellow humans. God is goodness Himself and love Himself. St. John- Love the neighbor we see to make sure we love God we don't see. Mass participation ensures attendance in God's presence that's passive but our efforts like charity helps us to actually get something out of it. A good example of Moses and Pharaoh- the whole point of freedom is to worship God. We must get everything we have and worship God so God can tell us what He needs from us. Worship is sacrifice because God asks us to sacrifice our feelings and other things to Him. Very important reflection on Fr. Mike's mother's birthday memory (Nov 4th).. God bless her soul.. It is very true and related to how we should approach God. We mustn't offer what we want to offer to God but we must offer what God wants us to offer. In the same way how Fr. Mike and others gave their mom what they thought mom liked instead what she liked. The story about Guardian Angels taking our offerings as well as prayers to Altar shows that we must pray for self and others instead of being idle. Angels with prayers for those forced into attending the Mass is quite sad. Everyone must know that the Mass is not useless but an important part of everyone's week that can help transform our lives. The Baptism indeed makes us priests too and we must exercise our priesthood through prayers at the Mass. Thank you for this homily, Fr. Mike, Team Ascension and the Pew Crew. God bless you and the fellow attendees

Stop misusing the word "love," against an ordained, 100% celibate, consecrated, holy man. Because, it is EXTREMELY bad luck, to "neg" a man like that... especially in the manner YOU (dumbo blond) keep "suggesting." You should start feeling a little "superstitious" about acting that way (and speaking that way) towards and about a Roman Catholic priest.. because it's definitely NOT "good luck," to do so. 👎 P.S. Ever heard of the (pre-Biblical.. as in 'Byblos' in Lebanon....as in "the cedars of Lebanon"), Egyptian "Book of the Dead," precursor of the Apocalyptic "Book of Revelation?" Hmmm? With 'love' (not).... from: "The Gypsy." Just saying...

Fr. Mike, the part in Schindler’s List you spoke of is EXACTLY the part that touched me FOREVER. It Forever made an imprint on my heart and when you were saying “there is this one part of the move, at the end” and that “its worth watching the entire movie just to see this part” I knew EXACTLY what you were going to say. The desperation in the mans demeanor, pointing to his car and saying, this could have saved 10 lives and this could have saved 2 or three lives. Oh the desperation and the sadness he felt. Let us not regret what we could have done, when we reach the end of our lives but rather, do all that we can NOW and everyday. Thank you Fr. Mike and Praise be to Jesus.

Guten tag, Herr Adolph Kamuzora…. Have you ever read the historical biographical book, by the author Greg Hallett, called “Hitler was a British Agent” (I.e an Mi6 double agent). ‘Adolph’ was his code name, taken from The Adelphi Hotel, in Liverpool (where he was born… the city where the Beatles came from). His father was an Austrian Roman Catholic (of course). I know this, because my relative, Kenneth Carter Benton (also an Mi6 “007 James Bond”) was based at the British Embassy, in Vienna, Austria… and helped Adolphus escape Berlin (just in time). Just saying…. 🇬🇧 👍…. 🇩🇪 👎
